Look at it this way, unless they're catching the clones with splash damage, you're technically healing whoever they were intending to shoot at... Also, if it's truly a problem, position your clones in safer spots.
I love Loki, by far my fave support. Also you mentioned the only way to heal yourself as Loki is the shift, didn't end up watching the vid cause work (I'll finish later) but the right click heals you over time while you're in stealth too.
Oh? Being stealthed heals you too? Didn't notice because I'm often full hp while stealthed or only use it to put a clone in a specific spot. That's nice to learn though. The only other healing I know works is transforming gives you the full hp of the hero you turned into.
@lunarshadow5584 yes but its bugged or something, everytime I go invincible they can still see me on the enemies end...in the kill cam...it pisses me off
Grinded to a decent rank playing Loki solely and he’s prob by far one of the more annoying and underrated characters. The ability to tank pretty much all instant KO ult with a well timed Lamp is insane. Fun tip if a teams grouped up trying to push the point try and drop a clone behind enemy lines while keeping one near your team so you’ll constantly force the team to turn around and deal with a clone or keep getting damage ticked away
For his invisibility, he can stay as long as you want, unless you do dmg/heal or take dmg, and the point I wanted to add is or if you run against someone (such as try to bodyblock someone, it will cancel the ability), since I thought of bodyblock someone in small area but it knocked me out of invisibility, plus he can heal himself overtime while in invisibility (other than the L-Shift heal and he cant aa heal himself, best to go with another healer obvious). Another thing is his L-Shift the big heal burst thingy, the stones on top, be careful because the enemy can destroy them and cancel the heal duration (had few people did that against me, that's how I knew).
oh about his auto attacks, the projectile itself doesnt do anything (doesnt dmg or heal) but the AoE of it does, best to aim at target's feet to get it work.
It's possible you know this at this point (I don't know when this was uploaded vs streamed, I don't know your skill level or time with the game, I just stumbled on this video at random), but a few important things to note when playing as or against Loki 1. When you ping main body, if Loki decides to swap places with a clone, the ping will follow him. This is an easy way to keep track of him and not get juked by him. This also makes stand still mind games really bad vs observant/proactive opponents since he's just fully tracked. I believe that invis removes ping entirely or does a missing ping but I could be incorrect on that. 2. The healing zone is god tier for denial since it gives you faux invuln from burst. Obviously the healing it output is really good but depending on game state it can be way better to hold if you suspect a big ult like a Scarlet Witch or Iron Man is coming since you can just solo deny the full ultimate. Since domain is destroyable it can unironically be a decent pick if you're using something like Punisher ulti just so your whole ult isn't going to get denied. 3. When you use ulti it will fully fill your HP, but when you revert back into Loki, your HP will be restored back to what it was when you ulted, so if you used it as a personal combat heal be extremely careful when you revert since you could theoretically just die out of ulti.
I thought Loki loses his clones when you transform, but I guess that was just the clones being destroyed (or a dev patch buffed him by allowing his clones to remain after transformation) But what would be REALLY cool but REALLY broken would be that the clones will still use his primary fire while you do despite being a different hero, so you would likely have 2 clones shooting your target if left alone. (And maybe even be the only time you could heal yourself because you're "Someone else")
After seeing his kit, I am honestly amazed I even got the puny god achievement. Could of easily accidently ulted a clone, he could of swapped as soon as I got near, or even just turned invisible and walked right out. And I only did it because I found that scene funny. Though tbf, Hulk's ult is just one of the most enjoyable, as getting to ragdolling that one annoying dude all game is so blissful.
You seem a little unclear on the shift: it lasts 5 seconds, it heals for 100/s while inside it, and converts ALL damage into healing. That means that anyone standing inside of the field is invincible, even against an iron man or scarlet witch ult. The main strength of this ability is that its a normal cooldown that can easily trade for many ults in the game, such as starlord's, all the tank ults, and even big AOE ones like Namor. Its also strong against heroes who cannot easily target it on its own, such as Magik and Iron Fist.
Hi I’m Peluuks and all I play is Loki got 27 hours on my boy and I can honestly say I find my myself killing DPS like nothing & also you heal yourself while in your invisible phase and I believe the cool down for it is like 45 seconds until you get hit by enemy , lord Loki add me up and find out I’ll show you how to play him position is everything as well constantly moving as Loki helps me out a lot too I almost never stand still healing
Hey TrikSlyr! I wanted to start playing storm and I’ve been literally binging your videos with her. Do you have any direct tips to help me be successful and to not make any bad habits? From what I see it’s important to be with the team which I like doing! Love the videos!
He’s actually not though. His passive is useless, his clones are sometimes gimmicky, anyone paying attention can clearly see which clone he teleports to because of the animation. He can be knocked out of invis with aoe damage, his healing is inconsistent on highly mobile heroes, and his ults usefulness is dependent on characters available. That being said, he’s still solid and fun af. He’s just not the “most well designed hero”.
His passive is not actively detrimental, so it's pure upside. His clones literally up his HPS/DPS threefold, if all three are hitting. Swap can easily be used for movement/escape, if you think it doesn't work well as a deception tool. Any heal that isn't auto aim is gonna be inconsistent on high mobility heroes if you don't hit your shots, that's just a skill issue. His lamp is *busted* since you can essentially counter a LOT of ults on a 25 second cooldown, and also just shuts down any kind of dive on both you and anyone near your clones. And, you have 11 heroes to pick from to copy, chances are one of them is good enough to have a second copy of (*LEGENDAAAAAARY*, next team fight: *YOUR POWERS ARE MI- LEEEEEEGENDAAAARY*). It's also a miracle that they've managed to make standing still in neutral not the worst possible option sometimes. I'd say it's worthy of the claim of "Most well designed hero", if not merely a very interesting hero design. Loki is more than solid, and you could definitely argue that he's one of the better hero designs in the genre.
i have the luck that the enemy always delete my clones the moment they show up but if a loki is against my team they dont even see the clones

The secret second healing method is dying. :P

You can shoot the ground and hit more shots. Didn't realize this right away.
I'm glad you're in your addict phase of this game. I am looking forward to your bitter hatred phase. :) I'm loving your Rivals content. Keep it up!
LOL
Loki is incredible. Saves you from Wanda ults, Namor ults, etc. He’s so fun.
A man named Trikslyr wants to play a Trickster... you don't say!
Road to mastering loki…let’s goooooooooooooo

Very true
Loki got me to gold. I never play comp but I had to for this game. Just give him more ammo and better skins and he’ll be perfect
