Luke hates losing. His best friend won and he is having a hard time losing to Robert, being on opposing sides. He also is being a jerk about the very thing that happened to him concerning Laura. He believed she was dead after seeing her belongings and went on to have a relationship with Holly. Robert's is actually a more noble reason.
I hate to say it but Luke is very wrong here, and this crap he says about she is in my blood I think he is more talking about Laura than Holly. I still believe that Holly is a rebound from Laura.
Don’t forget he was sleeping with Jackie Templeton ( Demi Moore) just before Holly showed up . He dumped Jackie for Holly.

Yes, they are awesome. GF needs to come back, I hate the friction between Luke and Robert. It's because of Holly and I can't stand her. Laura never caused this much grief between them, and Robert was in love with Laura too.

Anthony Geary's ability to portray multple feelings of joy, hurt, and anger in one scene reveals his superior acting abilities.

He has a lot of nerve to act like he didn’t move on within 6 months of her supposed death and she was his wife and loved her for a lot longer then Holly she was in love with Luke. She played him for months before she fell in love with him. Give me a break Luke.
Luke may have rehabilitated physically...but mentally and emotionally he’s kind of a madman(at least in this episode, anyway). 🥴🥴🥴
Lukes treating Robert way better than he treated Holly. Fully explained what happened to Robert .Didn't give the same courtesy to Holly. Preach Robert preach.Always loved Lukes friendship with Tiff, Rose and Blackie. Good script good acting .

I love Luke…almost named my son after him!….but this Luke? Not so much….glad it didn’t last! LOL
Oh but it returned. After the destruction of LnL, Luke turned very dark. Literally had no chemistry with anyone. He was a drunk, a bad father, and a horrible husband. I would say Helena Cassidine won, she literally destroyed Luke.

I agree. If you keep watching, when Laura returns, Robert refers to the three of them as the "the three musketeers from the old days".

It appears that these scenes between Robert and Luke were all in one take. It just goes to show you that TG and TR were some of the best actors to watch. They could hold your interest and keep you wanting more of them.
The only other pairing were Tony and Genie, and Tony and Jane. Emma Samms was good, but the writers made her too much of a maiden in distress and nothing more than a woman of leisure with shopping and sitting on the couch reading magazines, getting dinner ready and drinking tea and going out to lunch.
I do love Robert and Holly's love affair, I just wish TPTB could have made Holly more interesting.
-One interview I listened to with Tristan, he said he and Tony read the scrip then got rid of it and went for it. I believe he said it went on for 17 minutes. They had never done that before.
Tony and Jane had no romantic chemistry at all. Comedy yes, romance no way. To me the only woman Tony had romantic chemistry with was Genie Francis. Those two were hot on the screen even after they divorced. Their scenes were always riveting.
You are right,, Tony and Jane didn't have romantic chemistry .
But Luke's love of Q"s money was epic.!!/:)
Holly has to make a choice but remember what started this ball rolling Luke and Holly have trust issues and this will blow up the issue 100 fold

again and hasn't returned,

And now supposedly Luke is dead. Victor Cassadine's handiwork. TG said in an interview last year that he'd come back if the story was right and this better be it. Cause killing Luke is pretty despicable even for Frank.
I never watched the Luke/Holly storyline fully because I couldn't stand seeing her and Luke together. As a Luke/Laura fan I disliked Holly immensely and thought she was at fault in all this. I finally watched the storyline and actually have come to like Holly, dislike Luke and blame him for his horrible treatment of Holly though she deserved some of it due to her dishonesty during the oil scam. I'll like Luke again once he is back with his beloved Laura.
I preferred Luke and Laura of the 90's compared to the 80's I am probably in the minority here! I liked it better when they returned with Lucky and were a family.
I can see Luke's point. HE wants really gone that long, but I guess in soap opera time it was a year. Really it was only like 2 months. Yes she moved on too soon, but I can understand Roberts view.
and yet Luke forgot about Laura in a matter of weeks....
It was 4 months in real time he left for the mountain right after the new year. Not sure how long it was for soap opera time.
Lol I can't believe this is the best the writers could come up with. It's so junior high. How did they all keep straight faves while writing and acting these silly scenes? The dialogue is absurd.
