I have had an ample amount of you awesome guys and girls suggest that feral isn't the most optimal perk to run (due to overcapping the savagery attributes). In response to this, I would highly suggest you all exchange feral for hysterical strength or activated instead! These perks are far stronger and will help secure you guys more victim shutdowns! P.S. A massive thank you to the people that suggested the alternative perks to feral! It helps us family players to grow better at the game as a community! Ajaymes 🤍
A cool tip to know is that while Leatherface is charging his overhead swing he will Sprint even while you have no stamina left this means you can use hysterical strength without needing to perfectly time your attack
tip: When Reving The Chainsaw Make Sure The Rev Meter Is High If Its Low When you over head swing it will stall but if it is high it will have rev left over and most likely not stall unless it's not high enough
When your do a big swing it adds to your stall meter. So if you are like at 99% stall when you swing you will stall cuz the hit will make it pass 100%. Ideally you want to do a big swing right after bubba starts sprinting as the stall bar is much lower. That only works if you upgrade your stall resistance tho cuz base mame ability will always stall.
Ahhh I had heard about a sweet spot being between 70-90% or so, that’s great info and hopefully people can read the comment and understand how to play him a little better. He isn’t my main so I tried to do bubba as much justice as I could! Thank you for clearing the stalling issue up 🙏🏼💯
@@RealAJaymes that sweet spot only works if you run the middle path for leatherface. Since In this video you went right, middle, middle, your wiggle room to prevent stalling is smaller than my build.
@@biomatikk ah so you went triple middle? I’m almost certain that the developers mentioned that they do not stack on their sub Reddit, the TCM branding lead said that about the victim perks and stated that two of the same type don’t stack!
@@RealAJaymes interesting. I might be wrong then as I didn’t look at those sources and am just speaking from my personal experiences. I rarely stall my chainsaw so i thought it does stack.
well not really the lower it is the more likely it will stall the higher it is the more stall it has to spend and thus you wont stall when you hit i learned this from playing bubba A LOT so yeah not to be rude tho thanks for trying to help though!
One tip: its best to dont give blood harvesting any attribute points, because the lower the amount of blood you can collect, in this case its 80, the less attacks you need on victims for it to be full, so the perk vial end then will work
That won’t matter so much as it’s designed to be a one shot build, and when you execute a victim you will gain maximum blood. Your aim isn’t to do chip damage, it’s to get a full kill. Having full points on BH is great because you will fill that immediately from killing someone and get vial-ent online! Then when it’s 1 person left you can donate a massive amount of blood to gramps to locate them
Actually you’ll be surprised the more harvesting points you have the more blood you get per hit and kill, if you leave it at base you won’t even get a full vowel off a kill. Put 25 into harvesting, it’s perfect.
To prevent that overheating after the cut scene, I found it to be useful to tap the rev button slowly while the cut scene is going on and as you come out of the cut scene, it’s under control
Feral doesn't do anything in that build, savagery and endurance get maxed regardless so those 7 extra points always go into harvesting blood. But it doesnt actually help you get your vial to 100% faster. You also dont need the extra harvest for granpa because you should basicly never feed with via-lent. Literaly any other perk is better there in that build. I ended up going for extra damage when stamina is low.
Yeah I was aware of that when designing the build, which is why I included that it’s helped me out to level grandpa in the end game when there’s 1 victim left and neither family member is levelling him! But, as someone suggested in the comment I pinned, you can use the two random perks ‘vial-ent’ and ‘activated’ along with big swings. You’ll have to get lucky with the skill tree and respec a lot, but that’s the most optimal build IMO 🙂
@@RealAJaymes yeah family rotation is great but I like gas station more as the camera isn’t all over the place as it is more open while most of the game in family house is in the actual house

I agree for the most part. All the maps are very different in terms of which side it is better for. Family house is the best for the family because the lay out is so easy to understand. Unlike slaughter house I have no clue either as killer or survivor where I’m going sometimes😂. Gas station like you mentioned is definitely the most balanced but it’s definitely a bit more survivor sided as the gas station escape is very easy to escape from and there lots of walls and craw spaces to go through to escape a leatherface, Johnny, or cook
I know this may sound silly but if one of the basement door is already opened, keep them opened. So when someone jumps into the well you have more time to catch them in recovering state and don't spend time opening the door.
Its because it isn't optimal to navigate to it, but if you can secure an early kill, you may gain leverage to extend your patrol route! @@luckgeek974you raise a very good point, as vial-ent will typically come online when you achieve your first kill. Big swings, Vialent, and Activated is a good build but just a small tweak but other perks are still good too. I sometimes run feral or other perks depending on how I’m feeling but don’t sleep on the perk activated.
Yeah I saw a comment earlier that suggested activated! I was completely oblivious you could re-roll the skill tree to obtain it! Thank you for the comment! 🤍
LF tip: if a victim is through a crack you can still thrust your chainsaw and hit them but only if their close enough, and I mean when their on the other side and FULLY through you can still hit them
Personally, I liked using Big Swings, Vial-ent, and Hystericsl Strength. Im always running as leatherface with the chainsaw above my head, so that brings all my stamina down. Having a full blood vial and being under 15% stamina always allows for an actual 1 shot unless they are using no sell or Ana.
Run hysterical strength, vial-ent and his special serated ability he has in the middle path(it makes victims bleed 2 seconds longer than serated does). Put max savagery and the rest in blood harvesting. Leatherface doesn't really use stamina when swinging and running if you are doing the rev run. You will get crazy good blood to feed gramps and easily get the perk active if you collect a few buckets. P.S. you can run scout if you want for speed but it's for the instakill and if you pause during gramps animation and unpause, the family players can move and stop reving if you want.
If you switch feral for the perk that give 20% damage when you're under 15% stamina it's even better and that makes the synergy with big swings even better
Feral is pretty much useless for any killer especially leather face since strength caps at 50 you can’t go passed that even if you could the bonus damage from another perk is a way better choice. Highly recommended either activation or hysterical. Is just a better one shot build then having feral on with the other 2 just doesn’t go together. Highly advise not even using it on any other killer. You can literally make a sissy damage build with out feral.
I went through the endurance tree and have a build that has the one hit kill as well. As of right now between my perks, I have Savorgy and Endurnace maxed with some power boosts with blood vials. I'm only level 8 with Leatherface.
Yeah it is incredibly fun, family house is definitely the easiest when in the basement! You can exchange the feral perk for activated and it’ll be better for one shots! 🙂
So you can drop the savagery perk and just point dump it instead and put the rest into blood replace the perk with hysterical strength for more consistent one shot kill’s especially because of how much stam chainsaw sprint uses
Post the update they did where grandpa yells and he’s on your screen .. as leatherface main this also helps for constant rev and no stall after swing and miss or hit 💯
OHHHH SO NOW I SEE WHAT U MEAN!!! I’ve noticed that I would be stuck on grandpa and I’d be running against a wall when he was down then Start my chainsaw again🙄
I was thinking of this build but changing feral into scout to be a fast and hard hitting train not sure if this would be good or not but on paper sounds nice
That would be cool if they aligned! A lot of people are mentioning hysterical strength or activated! They are both viable alternatives and I would highly recommend those🙂
color correction in post-production! The game itself is really dark as you may know, so I make it brigther in post-production, so it is nicer to watch 🙂
I honestly put 0 points into endurance as bubba, considering that he doesn't use stamina to swing. He barley uses stam when running, as you can "crazy sprint" technically with 0 stam.
Yeah it’s not a bad idea, I was thinking if not including endurance attributes so that I could obtain hysterical strengths 20% extra stamina, as you don’t technically need the stamina to basic attack, and it’d be easier to drain for hysterical strengthens benefit 🙂
I have a cook build that's really good it has the endurance perk +7 the one that makes them bleed and the one that allows me to regain stamina 90 percent faster then max out strength and rest in endurance noone escapes me
That sounds pretty savage! I imagine the 90% faster stamina recuperation perk works great on the cook as he struggles with that category 😄 great build idea man!
Hysterical strength is decent, but I did some testing and it’s a little rng as you’re not going to necessarily get value from it with each encounter, but nonetheless it’s extremely powerful and will certainly one hit if it’s active along with vial-ent! Someone said to run activated and that is arguably the best perk to run with big swings and vial-ent, as you get stunned so much in the basement, so you can heavily punish them for doing that! 🙂 great suggestion btw! It is a good perk!
@@googane7755 yeah you don’t use stamina for anything. It’s definitely stronger outside of basement due to less obstacles and barricades. I was thinking about not inputting attributes into stamina so that it drains quicker, since you don’t need it. That way you can activate hysterical strength even faster, just occurred to me that’s probably the most optimal build😵💫
@@RealAJaymes That's exactly my build lmao you put everything into harvesting instead so that when you do feed grandpa it's a guaranteed level up which is good when the last one is just hiding

Feral doesn't give more savagery, it caps at 50 always, you should use another savagery perk, cause putting feral is just a waste of a slot, however Big Swings and Vial-Ent do stack
U should make a video on a Johnny build a really good one is The perks Serrated, Scout, and Unrelenting where the build end with 50 savagery and 46 endurance also Johnny is already a fast killer by default the extra 15% speed from the perk scout makes him zoom around especially with the bug with Johnny where u just sprint and keep swinging ur attack and it makes u move around faster.
I didn’t have instant activation at there point of recording. I wanted to also ensure that the build was viable and I was performing consistently, so I played countless games up until and beyond hitting level 3 before releasing the video (meaning the recordings don’t contain instant activation)!
Idk about the one shot build, I think the main disadvantage is you give up scout, & since alot of victims run no sell, they can take three hits even with the max damage build without dying. so without scout its much harder to catch them. I'd love to do some testing sometime to see how much this dmg really does on no sell.
People are saying that it’s because if you rev the main ability too high your attack will cause it to stall, so there is a sweet spot between 70-90% or so. Basically try not to rev as much, see if that will help prevent the stalling issue 🙂🤍
for me it's unclear why you have to use 3 pushes to start the chainsaw when u are supposed to have instant activation. It happened to me that I respec-ed the perks tree and forgot to do the ability tree, and that's why I was stalling. Not sure in your case. Though, I could still stall sometimes and I read some of the comments here that were mentioning the chainsaw bar. I'll test that.
Yeah I ended up recording the games prior to hitting level 3 on the ability. But I then played more games to make sure the build was reliable before posting 🙂 in relation to the stalling, I’m gonna be playing LF more this week, so I’ll get back to you on the stalling issue 😄💯

does bubba get acess to you'll pay for that? or any perk that increases damage when grandpa has been incapacitated, if so run that as 3rd, you'll guarantee a 1 shot on overhead swing
Yeah this has been established by others. I’ve mentioned viable alternatives such as hysterical strength or activated in its place. I’d suggest using those instead🙂
don't use feral on leatherface.. it doesn't stack past 50 savagery, the perk does nothing. you don't need endurance on leatherface he doesn't use stamina
I thought that savagery can't pass the 50 mark and that perk adds 7 to the stat that's already 50 so does it go to 57 technically or does it just not work?
Yeah it doesn’t over cap, but I would suggest running hysterical strength or activated as viable alternatives! They are both better in terms of damage! Hope this helps🙂
One shots are unpredictable as many high level survivors run toughness based perks. Equipping the extra damage can be the deciding factor between secure a victim execution, and letting them use an escape route. I’d rather not take my chances, as it’s seldom you find victims that don’t run some form of tankiness to survive LF.
Feral is useless on Bubba… I use big swing vail ent and punishment or hysterical strength… the combo is better blood harvesting don’t matter on Bubba I never feed grandpa unless it’s to get him to max…
I think you stalled so much because i think your upgrades were reset and i think that because didnt you have have insta saw on? it wasnt in the whole video.

Swinging for the fences grandpa perk does not give any effect to leatherfsce since his attacks dont use up any stamina his attacks only drain your chainsaw meter
You could experiment! A lot of people are mentioning that feral isn’t optimal and you can use activated or hysterical strength as an alternative, so I would suggest using those! 🙂
No leatherface uses very minimal stamina during his maim ability (chainsaw overhead running). So he can basically use it infinitely, it just has limited turning capabilities, so you have to be fairly accurate. It’s not hard to hit though aha 😂

Communication is 🗝️ !!! 💯
This build looks like it might finally convince me to play Leatherface more, that looks so satisfying to pull off!
Yeah it is incredibly fun, family house is definitely the easiest when in the basement! You can exchange the feral perk for activated and it’ll be better for one shots! 🙂
Dude you’re amazing keep up the good work I just started watching your channel three days ago.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the positive comments, it truly does mean a lot! 🤍
my man maxed out the brightness of his screen so the basement is lit up with LEDs
Post production is a beautiful invention 😂😂😄
I’ve been using this set up for a while now and it is amazing
Do you still use this same skill tree for his ability?
In order to use the saw after a power hit you have to get it a little above when he starts to raise it above his head
This build is the reason i run No Sell on EVERY single one of my victims 😅
Haha 😅😅 you gotta otherwise your at risk of getting one shot by LF.
Like the cook, build and hitchhiker
The build looks very fun to play with, you just got another subscriber :D
It is super fun! Thank you for your sub ☺️
Only 2k subscribers u defo underrated bro keep up the good work
Thank you that means a lot 🤍🙏🏼
7:00 this is horrific 💀
😅😅😅
You can’t get big swings and scout because they’re on the opposite side of the tree unfortunately
That would be cool if they aligned! A lot of people are mentioning hysterical strength or activated! They are both viable alternatives and I would highly recommend those🙂
@@PBandBajellyis there no way you can roll ?
@@Kismet_Kitsune as far as I know, you can’t roll for a perk that naturally spawns on the tree. That build would be nuts though
I was playing for 3 hours straight and didn’t get a single other family member to talk
This is the unluckiest thing I’ve read today 😭 I’m sorry to hear that! Here’s to hoping you find someone with comms 🤞🏼
How your game looks like that? Do you use a filter in video editing or is it a reshade?
color correction in post-production!
@@RealAJaymes That's exactly what I do, I run my stamina out at the beginning and just keep it down. Works pretty well.🫡
I have a cook build that's really good it has the endurance perk +7 the one that makes them bleed and the one that allows me to regain stamina 90 percent faster then max out strength and rest in endurance noone escapes me
That sounds pretty savage! I imagine the 90% faster stamina recuperation perk works great on the cook as he struggles with that category 😄 great build idea man!
Instead of feral I run the perk that gives extra damage when tired since that’ll happen often when constantly revving
@@RealAJaymes You can still keep revving the chainsaw to run as you can still use it with no stamina. Imo its a great perk especially outside basement
@@googane7755 honestly man I’m glad you and a couple of others commented and let me know! I may end up making another video on it (maybe an updated version), but for now I’ve pinned a comment updating people with the better perks to use in feral’s place! Thank you millions man!🙏🏼🤍
Feral doesn't give more savagery, it caps at 50 always, you should use another savagery perk, cause putting feral is just a waste of a slot, however Big Swings and Vial-Ent do stack
Use easily tuckered out instead of unrelenting. It is so good!!
How do you have so much visibility in the basement? Is there a configuration that allows you to see better in the basement?
It's all post production and colour correction that me and my editor apply to the videos (not an in-game setting).
Has this been nerf or no?
To turn on the chainsaw all I gotta do is tap square once and it turns on
I didn’t have instant activation at there point of recording.
U can still basically one shot everyone with just vialent so just run that scout and whatever else
I’ve had the stall happen a lot recently for some reason too and I thought it was weird
People are saying that it’s because if you rev the main ability too high your attack will cause it to stall, so there is a sweet spot between 70-90% or so. Basically try not to rev as much, see if that will help prevent the stalling issue 🙂🤍
@@RealAJaymesnot really I hit all the time at super high rev you just have to immediately press the revv button right after so it don’t stall..
for me it's unclear why you have to use 3 pushes to start the chainsaw when u are supposed to have instant activation.
As someone who is waiting to buy TCM on ps5 I'm gonna get this build on Bubba
Definitely worth trying 💯, if you do end up getting TCM and playing the build...
Let me know how it goes for you! I would be happy to hear your experience with the build.
Good luck in your games 🍀
@@RealAJaymes okay I will but it will probably be Christmas when I get because my birthday is five days after I will tell you how it goes though
@@Bird-Boy-yt That will be a great present! 😄
@@RealAJaymes it's the only thing I want 😂
Was your game bugged or did you switch from the level 3 main ability as in all your games your chsinsaw wasn't turning on after the first pull?
These games were recorded prior to me achieving level 3. I played tons more (even after hitting level 3) as I wanted to make sure perks were reliable and good before uploading!
My question is how do you make the chainsaw NOT stall. Good tips and video tho ❤❤
I love ur videos
Thank you for such a positive comment, I am glad to hear you enjoy the content! 💯
Hello I know that your´re playing Alan Wake right now, but can you maybe show recommend a good build for the new Nicotero Leatherface?, or would you also recommend this one?
I’m cooking together a bunch of videos! I’m currently editing a leatherface video at the moment and playing horror games for Halloween 🙂 nicotero leatherface is coming soon! 😄
@@RealAJaymes Allright, and atm I´m using te perks from your video and use instead of feral, hystericak strength and it seems to be really good. But if there is a better one than this then I´m really curious to see it from you. 😁
I nearly killed everyone with this build the last guy bled out
Has anyone killed all 4 survivors yet I killed all 4 and the other family members lagged out soon as the game started 😂😂
Does anyone else have the glitch where your leather face but you spawn upstairs instead of the basement?
I don’t think I’ve ever had that haha😂 imagine being a victim and opening the basement door to be greeted by a bubba on the staircase 😂😂😂
Yeeeeeees, I thought was only me
7:00 bro wanted her 15 minutes of fameee
does bubba get acess to you'll pay for that? or any perk that increases damage when grandpa has been incapacitated, if so run that as 3rd, you'll guarantee a 1 shot on overhead swing
The Feral perk is useless on Leatherface. Without it, you can already max your Savagery and Endurance.
Yeah this has been established by others. I’ve mentioned viable alternatives such as hysterical strength or activated in its place. I’d suggest using those instead🙂
How is your base savagery so high before adding extra attribute points? My base savagery is 40
That build is meta but very fun.
I agree, I had so much fun playing this setup! Change feral for hysterical strength or activated and you’ll do even more damage!
don't use feral on leatherface.. it doesn't stack past 50 savagery, the perk does nothing. you don't need endurance on leatherface he doesn't use stamina
I thought you had the instant switch on for the chainsaw but you had to pull it 3 time?
I thought that savagery can't pass the 50 mark and that perk adds 7 to the stat that's already 50 so does it go to 57 technically or does it just not work?
It stops at 50, so you’re just wasting extra points or a perk slot
Yeah it doesn’t over cap, but I would suggest running hysterical strength or activated as viable alternatives! They are both better in terms of damage! Hope this helps🙂
Look away plz🥺No don't look away look back look back!!😂
Ahaha, I definitely didn’t miss the first swing 🤥😄
Does the attributes go over max points? It lets me put them in.
feral lets you overclock the meter on bubba so its broken
make sure your giving the saw a rest by turning it of at times
You gonna learn today 😂❤
Class in session 🤣
Victims with shell perk laughs on one shot builds xd
If I don’t have the perks unlocked do I respec or keep upgrading
You gotta respec until you get the perks you want. As they are random perks you get within the skill tree
@@RealAJaymes so if I have two of the perks for leather face just keep respecting?
no attribute points should be invested in blood harvesting for leather face
How do you run around so long with a "fully" revved chainsaw?
You just keep tapping the rev button whilst in the red zone of the maim ability 🙂
Is vial-ent really needed when you already one shot without it?
One shots are unpredictable as many high level survivors run toughness based perks. Equipping the extra damage can be the deciding factor between secure a victim execution, and letting them use an escape route. I’d rather not take my chances, as it’s seldom you find victims that don’t run some form of tankiness to survive LF.
More room for error or dealing with high toughness builds
Hold it to 75% or 80 and then swing
Ahhh perfect! I've been trying to figure out that sweet spot! Thank you
Feral is useless on Bubba… I use big swing vail ent and punishment or hysterical strength… the combo is better blood harvesting don’t matter on Bubba I never feed grandpa unless it’s to get him to max…
all you have to do is tap rev during the cutscene
I’ve tried this and it still occurs 😂 hopefully the devs will patch it up swiftly 🙏🏼
I think you stalled so much because i think your upgrades were reset and i think that because didnt you have have insta saw on? it wasnt in the whole video.
Yeah I may have respecced and forgot to place in the points again! Very good point! I was not level 3 on LF at the time, but I played tons more and levelled up before releasing the video to make sure the build was worthy enough to upload! 🙂
Jay is so kaway 😊😊💞💞
Hahah thank you 🤍
I use this build but i stall on heavy hits almost constantly? how do i make it stall less?
It may be something to do with when you are committing a strike with main, there’s a sweet spot. And obviously running the level 2 stalling resistance 🙂
Swinging for the fences grandpa perk does not give any effect to leatherfsce since his attacks dont use up any stamina his attacks only drain your chainsaw meter
I was thinking it would be more useful for other family members like cook and sissy🙂
@@RealAJaymes just saying anyway good video
level up savagery and then apply feral :)
I realised that they unfortunately don’t go over the cap of 50, so you may exchange feral for hysterical strength or activated 🙂
@@RealAJaymes ive seen it ingame where it does or did they fix that already?
@@mayonaisedragonvisibly it can go over the cap but it has no actual effect in the game just run hysterical strength or activated
You can also use one of his unique perks, but question only is are they now better then the perks you are using?
You could experiment! A lot of people are mentioning that feral isn’t optimal and you can use activated or hysterical strength as an alternative, so I would suggest using those! 🙂
@@RealAJaymes which perk is feral again?, or what exactly does it say?
why is he not losing any stamina while attacking? is it a bug or what?
It's just broken tbh
No leatherface uses very minimal stamina during his maim ability (chainsaw overhead running). So he can basically use it infinitely, it just has limited turning capabilities, so you have to be fairly accurate. It’s not hard to hit though aha 😂
@@RealAJaymes ah yeah i realised that so theres no point not running that %15 more dmg perk that also shrinks the stamina
Bro is speaking yappinese💀

First off I love this build second off its not new I've been using it since the game came out, and 3 im Dora the explorer and I discovered this build
i think it stalls if you dont land the hit
It also stalls if you don’t go in the middle perk for LF’s level 2 ability (stalling resistance)
Wait it goes over 50 for 57?
No it’s doesn’t, refer to the pinned comment about exchanging that perk for better ones 💯
We’ll thay fixed it thay removed the grandpa wake up cutsene
Would u say this is the best build rn
I would say remove feral for hysterical strength or activated! They are both also very good alternatives 🙂
Shows ability for instant start and has to pull 3 times to start…
Hey a little bit of advice, it's fine to have the games run a little bit longer without so many cuts. It felt very jarring to watch and difficult to enjoy with so many jump cuts and condensing of the games. You have a great personality, energy and incorporate memes great it just was too jarring with the editing. Hope you can adjust that :)
Left, Middle, Middle. You don't want to stall the chainsaw. Great build otherwise.
left actually makes LF worse, right middle middle is the good spot, the left path makes him take longer to get his chainsaw up his head
@@dorimeameno5514 but I rarely ever stall. Right side is noob friendly. It's better to find the sweet spot of the Rev and not overheat by manually doing so. Works great for me, but to each their own 🤷🏻♂️
@@dorimeameno5514honestly you ll be revved so much it’s worth the safety net that left tree gives you
