2 hours. My Teacher takes two hours to drag this bullshit along and this got me through half of the homework in ten minute. Every college student appreciates what you do. Thanks so much.
I hear this so often, and I reckon the reason is that when we listen to videos such as these we are more often than not alone, and therefore have few distractions ( such as a knock- out good looking lass as we watch and take notice of her ass in class, rather than the Math ). Observe that most very able Mathematicians work alone. `Just a thought !
Missthalia18 You probably don't need this info by now haha, but for whoever else needs it: like he said in the video, he multiplied by 1, but he wrote it in a different form. The reason why he chose THAT form (square root of x + 3 divided by square root of x + 3) is because it is the conjugate of square root of x - 3. He is then left with x minus 9 on top, allowing him to cancel the x minus 9 on the bottom. It wraps up the problem into a neat little bow, once you understand how to get to that point. I've done five levels of college math up to now calculus 1 and didn't understand the concept of why you should multiply by the conjugate until just now smh.
This guy is the best!!!.....I have taken 3 classes of 1hr and 20 mins each an still barely understood what the teacher was teaching and this guys too less than 10 mins to explain half of what the teacher thought....excellent!!!.....the greatest....thank you!!
At the end u said, "thank you for watching this video." My answer now is, "THANK YOU for posting these videos and all of your TIME." Truly appreciate it!!!!
My teacher cant teaching nothing, one video of yours literally taught me something beneficial. I like how you take it super slow and remind us of what to do and not to forget, barely anybody makes vids like u man. YOU THE MAN!:)
I love it: you can "think" zero over zero, but just don't write it down! Great video, dude! Any number over zero makes as much sense (and as little) as a number over a head of cabbage.
Failing I exam is not equal to failing in life. This is crap because most of successful people in the world don’t even have merit certificate. And you a re bigger idiot thinking that you will fail in life if you fail in exams. Just f*** that idea
i love this guy. he has such a good pace and great examples. theres no bullshit. he gets right to the point. plus i love his voice, it just vibes with me
genius !! i haven't taken calculus since jr yr high school . fast forward 6 yrs later in college now that i have to take it - i can't remember jack ! but ur lessons are awesome - so crystal clear !
pretty stressed about calculus this semester, watched two videos in your channel! surprise!! it's easy!! thank you so much!!!! i'll be going over your videos throughout the semester! i even downloaded the free e-book!! thanks again! you rock!
Your videos are incredibly helpful. Especially the fact that i have IB exams in 30 minutes. Thanks again, keep making videos because even once i reach in college i will be viewing your videos.
Thank you, you beautiful soul, it's dumb that you are much better at teaching algebra than my prestigious college professor. I really appreciate your videos.
Thanks! This video is very helpful, I actually gotten the concept! Right now I am trying to prepare for Calculus, and my precal teacher told me to prepare go for limits and derivatives first.
This is really helpful. I recently started Calc BC and I was almost completely lost, but this video is really clear and actually makes sense. Thank you.
This was explained so perfectly, I didn't understand my study guide even with some answers there, but you explained what I couldn't wrap my head around. Thanks :D
My professor doesn't teach, she assigns homework and has us teach ourselves out of the book. The book skips many details in explanations so this helps so much!
your videos have really helped me out so far in my Calculus class. my teacher basically copies what's in the book onto the board, and doesn't really explain anything so i am only able to solve 3 of the 30 problems. your vids help me with the other 27 =) subscribed!
how do I know what technique to use though? like that's the one thing that's always confused me about math. you seem to pull the method out of nowhere, and it looks easy, however on the test, you've no idea what to actually use
Math classes are teaching you theory and techniques to solve problems. After awhile you will be able to look at an equation, see the pattern, and know what type of problem it is. Then if you are going into a scientific or mathematical field of work you then have to learn how to apply it. Meaning in the real world those X’s and Y’s all have real meaning to them. For example: A very simple business application would be if you wanted to know the economic profit of your competitor and you didn’t know how much he could be charging for each unit but you know everything else: Total revenue -(explicit costs + implicit costs) We know that revenue is calculated by Quantity x Price= 10x So, 10x - ( 400 + 500 ) = 10,000 (economic profit) Solve for x 10x - 900 = 10,000 10x = 10, 900 X (amount charged per unit) = $1,090 Furthermore, if you know how to apply algebra you can figure out any unknown quantity with very limited information.
This is incredible. Thank you so much for making it. My Calc 1 college class was definitely losing me. But this makes the easy ones, at least, that much better to process and understand.
"this is total nonsense, okay? dont ever do that" lol why did that make me laugh so hard.. and his voice reminds me of the person who plays grumpy in once upon a time x) thank you so much! this was seriously helpful
Omg i was stressing so much because i didn't know shit about this and i couldn't understand my teacher but now after seeying part 1 i am so happy nd thankyou so much for this. I am not even an english speaker but you explained it so well. Love from a belgium student!!
Your explanation is very good, but in school I never learnt that c/0 is undefined, I learnt that it's infinity. Also, in addition to the methods you use to solve "0/0" limits, there is also the l'hospital rule which works almost all the time
:o this guy just put my math sir to shame...great video made me finally understand LIMITs, all along i thought i was slow when in reality my sir sucked at teaching :/
OMG i have a test in 2 hours !!! so hopei'l understand them I live inorocco and we study maths in Arabic.. but i understand what you're talking about, i just hope your limits are same as ours !
the radical canceled, you know the square root thingy? if you multiply two radicals together they cancel, it's like square root of x then saqured, they cancel out and you're left with just x
2 hours. My Teacher takes two hours to drag this bullshit along and this got me through half of the homework in ten minute. Every college student appreciates what you do. Thanks so much.
Agreed, my teacher takes 50mins to just do a bunch of work and talk about it but never explains it. He assumes we already know it like he does.
same here
I hear this so often, and I reckon the reason is that when we listen to videos such as these we are more often than not alone, and therefore have few distractions ( such as a knock- out good looking lass as we watch and take notice of her ass in class, rather than the Math ).

why did he multiply by root x +3

wow! in less than 10 minutes you explained what my teacher explained badly in about two/three days!! fantastic :)
Ejwbwb kwnes you a smart kid
Calculus is killing me, i wish i had a tutor.
Ejwbwb kwnes Im going for electrical engineering, and i need alot of calculus and physics. Its really tough, I hope I can make it
OMG i swear its like these calculus professors are too smart to teach the right way. Thank you sooo much
I love it: you can "think" zero over zero, but just don't write it down! Great video, dude! Any number over zero makes as much sense (and as little) as a number over a head of cabbage.
The one who teaches here is far better. He explains everything very well. Thumbs up to you!
I remember learning from these videos in 2009. I leaned more than school here. thank you soo much for this. i can't express how thankful I am
all day ive been trying to find a good video of someone teaching calculus. i finally found one. youre an awsome teacher!!
thank you, this is brief and to the point and it makes sense. maybe I'll pass my exam and not fail at life yayy
did you pass your exam???
@@virtual__ I don't think so 😂
Failing I exam is not equal to failing in life.
This is crap because most of successful people in the world don’t even have merit certificate.
And you a re bigger idiot thinking that you will fail in life if you fail in exams.
Just f*** that idea
When will my ass get laid
You are literally a gift from god, i have never understood anything so easily. omg i owe you my life
Eventually the Best video explaining Limits on TH-cam!!! Absolutely understandable!
I lost my notes before the finals tomorrow, you are a lifesaver!
You are a life saver I love your videos you have done what my calculus professor could not do in a week Thank you
i love this guy voice. He is a great man.THANKS FOR HELPING SIR
This is the way they should teach it in school. Easy to follow and understand! Thank you so much!
i love this guy. he has such a good pace and great examples. theres no bullshit. he gets right to the point. plus i love his voice, it just vibes with me

Please keep making videos they are fantastic!! You just explained a weeks worth of lectures in under 10 minutes!
Its so ridiculous how 9 minutes of video is so much more simpler than hours of lecture. -__- Thanks!
Just paid $200 for a college calculus text book and can't even understand the explanations.
Yeah they make you waste money for no damn reason.
FML
literally me
you are a great teacher, superior to most on youtube/online in general. Thanks!
Thank you, you beautiful soul, it's dumb that you are much better at teaching algebra than my prestigious college professor. I really appreciate your videos.
This has helped me learn this 10 times easier and faster than my college professor with a weeks worth of lectures... haha THANKSSSSS
Thanks! This video is very helpful, I actually gotten the concept! Right now I am trying to prepare for Calculus, and my precal teacher told me to prepare go for limits and derivatives first.
the best explanation so far. i have watched 8 videos but this is this short and accurate. thank you so much
This is really helpful. I recently started Calc BC and I was almost completely lost, but this video is really clear and actually makes sense. Thank you.
Wow, you explained this better than my professor. I have an exam in 2 hours and I feel I can pass now. Great stuff
Thank you for teaching me this. I am taking calculus next year and wanted to get a head start. Your lesson was extremely clear and helpful.
This was explained so perfectly, I didn't understand my study guide even with some answers there, but you explained what I couldn't wrap my head around. Thanks :D

Excellent video! Simple step-by-step logic running through some intro examples. Well done sir!
man....that was awesome...using algebra to factor and rationalizing the denominator...a NEW view. and a much clearer approach. !!... thnak YOU. !!
I am economic student, but I have little knowledge about mathematics. You helped me alots to clear my semesters
how do I know what technique to use though? like that's the one thing that's always confused me about math. you seem to pull the method out of nowhere, and it looks easy, however on the test, you've no idea what to actually use
I think itz just d practice
U start to recognize what to use as u become more used to seeing it
Math classes are teaching you theory and techniques to solve problems. After awhile you will be able to look at an equation, see the pattern, and know what type of problem it is. Then if you are going into a scientific or mathematical field of work you then have to learn how to apply it. Meaning in the real world those X’s and Y’s all have real meaning to them. For example:

Total revenue -(explicit costs + implicit costs)
We know that revenue is calculated by
Quantity x Price= 10x
So,
10x - ( 400 + 500 ) = 10,000 (economic profit)
Solve for x
10x - 900 = 10,000
10x = 10, 900
X (amount charged per unit) = $1,090
Furthermore, if you know how to apply algebra you can figure out any unknown quantity with very limited information.
I have a precal midterm tomorrow and this is extremely helpful for understanding limits! thanks!
This is incredible. Thank you so much for making it. My Calc 1 college class was definitely losing me. But this makes the easy ones, at least, that much better to process and understand.
Oh my! Thank you for this video. When i read the pages earlier I thought calculus was really hard but you let me understand it easier. Thanks!
I really appreciate your efforts and I give you all 5 stars . Excellent style of explanation.
Thank you sir this helped me a lot, as a stressed senior with AP Calc, Thank you
THANK YOU SO MUCH! i downloaded all your series bout Limits!:) God bless you more!
"this is total nonsense, okay? dont ever do that"
lol why did that make me laugh so hard..
and his voice reminds me of the person who plays grumpy in once upon a time x)
thank you so much! this was seriously helpful
thanks a lot!! sometimes TH-cam is the best professor I have
The king of calculus!
Tq math version of jesus u save thousands of broke college students
this is the best review ive watched on limits. super helpful. thank you!!
Very informative video. Im in AP Cal and have a really bad teacher. You explained the concept excellent!!!
Thank you so much. The really simple explanation on rationalizing helped a ton for me.
Good explanation under 10 mins, very helpful, thanks.
That is the basics of Limits you've talked about, Thankyou so much...
We have a test tomorrow in Stat./Calc. and this really helped :D Thanks
Omg i was stressing so much because i didn't know shit about this and i couldn't understand my teacher but now after seeying part 1 i am so happy nd thankyou so much for this. I am not even an english speaker but you explained it so well. Love from a belgium student!!
Bruh you just made me understand what I tried understanding for a week in just a few minutes
Seriously thank you, calculus seems a lot easier now.
Thanks so much for teaching!!! It's been so helpful for me to understand limits!!
I love you bro. Im so serious when saying if your ever in Milwaukee I owe you a drink
Your explanation is very good, but in school I never learnt that c/0 is undefined, I learnt that it's infinity. Also, in addition to the methods you use to solve "0/0" limits, there is also the l'hospital rule which works almost all the time
Nice work Sir. Your explanations are more simple and easy to understand. More power and more videos...
Just found this series!
Excited to watch the rest of the videos😋
thank you so much for doing this, very helpful.
Best regards from Colombia ( South America)

im on my way to grade 12 calculus next year this really helped me alot so thank you
i have a test in afew hours and thi has been bery useful. Thanks God-send folk
:o this guy just put my math sir to shame...great video made me finally understand LIMITs, all along i thought i was slow when in reality my sir sucked at teaching :/
our premidterms in calculus is tomorrow
you SAVED me! :D thanks so much!
Gosh I really wish my professor explained all this like you did. Great video!
Chuck Norris can divide by zero
+geologist100 chuck Norris uses zero as a steak knife to cut and eat raw meat.
OMG i have a test in 2 hours !!! so hopei'l understand them
I live inorocco and we study maths in Arabic.. but i understand what you're talking about, i just hope your limits are same as ours !
Wow, I love your videos! You are certainly a good teacher! Thank you so much!

THANK YOU YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER
this is the door into calculus, Thank you!!
Thank you sir... Your video was too significant on my learning of limits
Wow, you're amazing, simple but I can understand it clearly.
You are amazing! You made it so simple for me to learn!
I loved the way how you simply explained it, but it would be great if you explain it by graphing !Thank you
Thanks for the great video! Seams easy when you explain it.
🙏 Thank you. I was freaking out for a sec.
Thnx man, this test gona be acedddddd
thank you, I'm from the Netherlands and you're videos have really helped us. #hero (In Dutch #held)

Thanks a ton, you helped me a lot !!!
Greetings from Germany
omfg..i understand this video than of that lecture of my instructor!.thank you very much.
Thanks! Saved my grade! Keep staying awesome!
thank you i was so lost in 1st year calc cause i didn't take calc in high school i only took advanced functions!
u r rocking my dear frnd
Thank you so much
you explained in great way and everything is very clear.
the radical canceled, you know the square root thingy? if you multiply two radicals together they cancel, it's like square root of x then saqured, they cancel out and you're left with just x
u can also take the denominator in form a2 - b2 instead of rationalizing right sir. thanks for ur videos
