- Rocks and sand are great off-road undergrounds, but flooded roads can command our respect. When the slippery tracks get really muddy and become deep morass the power and technical advantages of Globi can take effect. We experienced that Globi is able to master more than we ever thought about. Gobi is definitely the hero of this video.

One bit of advice. The Man has good ground clearance so rather than push your own track through the mud stay in the ruts. And the people that use the road in the dry season will appreciate it also.
To bad you didn't not have any videos of Globi working through the mud ... That would have been beautiful to see ... ⛟⛟⛟

If we had filmed Globi from the outside, that would mean we had to stop. If we had stopped, we would have been stucked.
I'm curious, how long (time or distance) was that 'mud road'? Thanks.
the first and longest part was about 600m, the second about 200m. the time is difficult, we felt it as very, very long...
After seeing this, I cannot complain about the oilfield lease roads I drive here in Texas.

You were actually very close to getting stuck based off of my off-road experience. Going too slow in some of that mud, you need a little more speed for momentum. If you stopped you most certainly would have been stuck. Good thing you didn't stop!
I drove as fast as I could and would never stop myself.
I think your speed was spot on, cars need speed for momentum, particularly when their diffs hook up at a slight bump, but a big truck has lots of momentum even at low speed, and a lot more ground clearance.
An outside the vehicle clip of that lil mud bog would've been epic

With it's six wheel drive that MAN truck shouldn't have too much diffficulty in the mud. I drove a UNIMOG 6X6 and the MAN is comparable with it in terms of off road cappabilities. This is you best video yet!

Not typical Africa just the typical roads you choose to take in africa in rural areas. -But im sure it was in jest.
When those think they would live full time in an expedition vehicle when some local roads were little more than goat paths when they were made for a dirt bike let alone an expedition vehicle when globi proved its worth in a mud hole.
