Yeah as someone who's going to engineering school themselves, I can confirm that this is true. You don't learn how to make things. And as someone who loves to work and make things, this is really horrible for me because I'm REALLY not a theory person. School/University sucks.
But it's true. School only gives you the tools (math, reading, writing). The drive to actually make stuff you have to find all by yourself ...

If you have patience and your cat has an outgoing personality then it's not actually that hard to teach them. Also helps if your cat likes treats because it's important to reward them a bunch as they're getting used to the harness and leash.

Best engineering advice i ever heard. I'm graduating with my undergraduate in mechanical engineering in a week and have been frustrated with the lack of hands on engineering during school. Keep up the awesome videos!
This reminds me of this one time we had a small Christmas decoration house thingy that had a bunch of lights and motors. We bought it at Costco so it was pretty cheap. At some point it started smelling like a plasma globe but much stronger, and it just stopped working properly. It eventually set itself on fire (I think) for a bit and we threw it out. Now that I think about it, there was probably a big issue in the power supply, since it smelled like the gases created by high voltage interacting with air. Safety much!
