The Master I Rank up game was probably the most hilarious game I have watched in a long time. Props to Josh for sticking through it. I'm sure most of us (including me on most days) would have just gotten frustrated and surrendered when we realized their plan was searching maxx c going 1st which is basically the psychological damage endboard.
Mulcharmy cards still haven't covered Special Summon from Backrow or Pendulum Zones. I also get the feeling that we'll see one for specific creatures types as well, which will be incredibly strong, once it comes out. Regardless, I look forward to seeing the one that walls Labyrinth. The existence of such degeneracy cannot go unpunished.
Fire: draw 1 card for every activated trap card/effect Light: draw 1 card for every spell card/effect Dark: draw 1 card for every activated monster card/effect
OK that last game was a huge WTF ?!?! from beginning to end , 60 card pile opened the nuts as 60 card piles in MD always do , but props to Josh for somehow winning this , i would've surrendered at the maxx c bounce in turn 1 for sure
The other day I drew Ipiria last card and mandatory drew to lose by deck out (in Pulovers build) This morning I got lovely first mill off reasoning and then the second lovely first mill off monster gate so I rage quit lmao Love to see these streams !
Josh, I want to ask you a question about Master Duel. When your opponent moves from the main phase 1 to the battle phase, the game gives you a notification about that. Now it does not give you this notification, but i enter the battle phase directly, even though I did not change the duel settings. I hope you make a video, even if it is short, explaining this point to us. Thank you.
I think a big reason for the conception that Tier 0s are necessarily bad in the TCG is that everyone then has to buy the Tier 0 cards to have the best deck, which in turn due to supply and demand drives up the prices of those cards astronomically compared to a diverse format.
More top tier decks doesn't mean less expensive decks. Quite the opposite, other decks will get cheaper bc only 1-2 are top tier. More top tier decks would just mean more expensive cards, the prices wouldn't be divided based on how many good cards are in a format
@@neusyns The non-tier 0 decks are cheaper but playing a non-tier 0 deck in a tier 0 format is generally a miserable experience. At the height of post-CIBR SPYRAL or post-MAMA Ishizu Tearlaments’ dominance, no other decks were winning events.
The ritual beast game with 60 cards tenpai was so funny 😂😂😂 Josh did the combo fairly well, but he banish the wrong monster for protos (shouldve been banshee lara and the link 2 so the fusion can tag out into the link 2). Also I wouldve made colossus instead going blind matchup. If they droplet you can pop your own cards with steeds so droplet will fizzle out 😅
Thankfully we're in a format where several top tier decks play around or through nib so its not seeing much play. Now rogue decks can combo in peace lol
1:31:00 ~ yeah I think thats not a good reason - sure if a deck is fun to watch then thats cool - but that should not be a relevant reason what so ever... its about the ones playing, and if they have fun then thats what matters...
I feel like I say this every stream but how does he play the most incompetent players? Every Tenpai player I face has every card they need every time. I wish I could face a going first Tenpai lmao
I could text wall under a vod here... but as he says later its subjective - if the decks you like / want to play - are okay vs Kash then sure kash format was not that bad, just put the outs into your deck and play the game. But that exlcudes the tons of decks that all insta lose to AHreart, Shifter, Unicorn, Zone lock etc. So sure there are strong decks Tier 1 decks that are very powerful and more powerful then others and as such make them "unplayable". And a Tear 0 Deck thats so strong that nothing can beat it. The thing is, there are times when a Tier 1 deck plays in a way that sure it does not insta win vs everything like a Tier 0 deck would but its style is so format defining that its presence defines what decks can be played - similar to certain cards being wide spread in the meta (ex. if Droll is in the meta sure it wont be T0 cause there are decks that dont lose to droll stopping it from becoming to oppressive but there are enough decks that have big issues with the card) And that was Kash - so for many it felt like Tier 0 cause it gate keept a lot of rouge decks lets say - from being fine, but on the other hand decks even rouge ones that were okay with shifter etc. their players probably didnt see it that way.
hell no paleo is awesome. aleast its no dumb flootgate deck like ritual beast or dumb cinema movie that end up on 8+ interruptions where 1st turn player anyway wins and tbh i enjoy how ppl like him evolves decks like paleo for the current metas. if paleo wasnt there where he would bring them i would quit MD after the 3rd time they hit tear. it was the last deck that i enjoyed that supported the interactiv both players can PLAY the game instead of "i won coinflip i win because i can negate every card in ur hand" hence why i dislike aswell the current tear version because it evolved from a controll type deck to negate deck w baron and apo, i hope both cards getting banned in MD paleo support that playstyle of both players can play and enjoy the game (no matter of win or lose) but i can understand that ppl dislike paleo because they only can do combo b from speadsheet 1647 and not been smart enought to reading cards and understanding (and not been able to grow by learning) what leads to what. (not saying u been one of that ppl dont get me wrong there)
@@undertaker8187 nah „paleo“ is nothing else than abusing rollback in the most toxic way. It’s literally the only deck which plays traps only as rollback-targets. Even stun-games are 3 times fasten as that.
@@Jackinthebox1719abusing rollback? Sure, I mean labrynth also does that but ok. Toxic? Ok you're smoking some shit. Just because paleo games take long doesn't mean it's toxic.
