Teamsheets and player positioning that would confuse neutral observers, but it was because Jose had his most hardworking, talented, and loyal players. Mutual trust, and dedication. As a result, the mental fortitude of this team had no limits. They felt unstoppable. This team, in this particular season.. I would put them against any football team in history. No opponent was too big for them. Their dedication to Jose's vision, and to each other, made them invincible. You can see the joy in their faces when they scored. And you can see Jose's passion. No other club gave him this emotion since. I wish this Inter story could have continued for years. I think it would have, if Jose stayed.

United or Liverpool won the champions league back then, especially since istanbul miracle still being talked a lot these days, but they seem forgot AC MIlan won champions league twice in that decade, also i don't think many people (At least from this generation) glorify moment when porto won the cup in 2003, or knowing that Juventus also has their moment in 1996, they only know juventus is the team that always lose in final in champions league.. Inter Chelsea fu la partita della svolta. Poco prima avevamo perso punti a Bergamo avevamo faticato col Siena e pareggiato con la Samp in 9 e recuprato lo 0/2 a Bari... sembrava che avremmo perso tutto. Mourinho scelse di cambiare modulo giocando con Pandev Milito Eto'o e Sneijder dietro, fondamentale fu convincere Samuel a sacrificarsi. Sarebbe stato un delitto spostare Milito dal centro dell'attacco, ma se è vero che Eto'o poteva fare il Milito al centro, Milito non avrebbe mai potuto fare Eto'o sulla fascia. Eto'o fu intelligente e umile e obbedì, anche perchè quell'anno aveva una ferita sotto la pianta del piede che lo limitava. Già l'anno dopo disse che non si sarebbe sacrificato più...se non ci fosse stato l'infortunio di Milito forse ne avremmo visto di beghe tra i due...mah! Cmq quella fu anche la partita di uno straordinario Wesley Sneijder....sontuoso.

Carried Holland into the grand final of the World Cup while being the best scorer (5 goals, a 3-way tie with Mueller and Forlan that year). I have to say as an inter fan since 1997! This 2010 team has a special place to my heart. This team was the only inter team if inter got down 0-2 in the first half I was always sure this team was motivated enough to win. When Pedro DIVE against Inter in the champions league second leg even at 10 vs 11 I was like Barca cannot compete with this we (inter) are moving on. Not to mention that my favorite player of all time Javier Zanetti finally made it to the top. Thank you to Massimo Moratti, for being an inter fan before being an owner ..spending money like there was no tomorrow.

Season 2009/2010, I was the high school student, Inter had an unbelievable season, I cannot forget how Julio Cesar played against Barca, he made so many significant save, and of course the goal of Maicon. From that, any time I play football, I imagine I was Maicon, run like him, cross a ball like him and shoot like him. Greatest moment in my life.

Per me ,la partita della svolta definitiva ,sia sotto il profilo del gioco che quello della mentalita ,é Chelsea inter 0 1. Quella partita fu giocata veramente da grande squadra e lì l'Inter diede l'impressione per la prima volta di poter vincere seriamente quella competizione, di essere finalmente maturata e aver ottenuto quella mentalità europea che negli anni precedenti era sempre mancata nei momenti chiave, a dispetto di una qualità tecnica che comunque pur non essendo come quella del triplete,era a livelli molto buoni.
tutto perfettamente corretto... ma se vogliamo trovare il momento piu atroce, il momento quando vedi se hai le palle o no e' stata l'espulsione di Thiago Motta a Barcellona e il ghigno di Busquets... Palle di ghisa e Karma.
Direi più il gol di Milito o quello di Cambiasso. Il primo perché era da 5 partite intere che non segnavamo negli ottavi di CL (ritorno col Valencia nel 2007, poi due col Liverpool e due col Manchester), quindi bisognava rompere l'incantesimo. Il secondo perché era addirittura dal 2003 (il mitico 0-3 all'Highbury) che non battevamo una grande europea.
Contro il Chelsea fummo piuttosto fortunati. A San Siro ci fu una svista clamorosa dell'arbitro che avrebbe potuto cambiare la partita. Fortunatamente a Londra ci dimostrammo una grande SQUADRA e da lì probabilmente partì la consapevolezza di poter lottare contro tutte le grandi europee. Amala ⚫🔵

I momenti della svolta sono stati due:
1) la rimonta alla Dinamo Kiev
2) il gol di Eto’o a Londra con il Chelsea
Vero però pure il 1 gol di milito all andata con il Chelsea aveva rotto una specie di incantesimo che l inter aveva negli ottavi in quei anni contro le big basta pensare all Manchester l anno prima l inter sia in andata e ritorno 0 gol col Liverpool 2 anni prima andata e ritorno 0 gol ecc ecc
Per me ,la partita della svolta definitiva ,sia sotto il profilo del gioco che quello della mentalita ,é Chelsea inter 0 1.
Quella partita fu giocata veramente da grande squadra e lì l'Inter diede l'impressione per la prima volta di poter vincere seriamente quella competizione, di essere finalmente maturata e aver ottenuto quella mentalità europea che negli anni precedenti era sempre mancata nei momenti chiave, a dispetto di una qualità tecnica che comunque pur non essendo come quella del triplete,era a livelli molto buoni.
tutto perfettamente corretto... ma se vogliamo trovare il momento piu atroce, il momento quando vedi se hai le palle o no e' stata l'espulsione di Thiago Motta a Barcellona e il ghigno di Busquets... Palle di ghisa e Karma.
Direi più il gol di Milito o quello di Cambiasso.
Il primo perché era da 5 partite intere che non segnavamo negli ottavi di CL (ritorno col Valencia nel 2007, poi due col Liverpool e due col Manchester), quindi bisognava rompere l'incantesimo.
Il secondo perché era addirittura dal 2003 (il mitico 0-3 all'Highbury) che non battevamo una grande europea.
Contro il Chelsea fummo piuttosto fortunati. A San Siro ci fu una svista clamorosa dell'arbitro che avrebbe potuto cambiare la partita.
Fortunatamente a Londra ci dimostrammo una grande SQUADRA e da lì probabilmente partì la consapevolezza di poter lottare contro tutte le grandi europee.
