This season have a lot of potential, and Junny is doing great at hosting too. The chemistry of the hosts is really building up every episode. Since this is 'Get Real', bringing back the old format would be great. The natural flow of conversation will be there. The topic will be discussed. The listeners, watchers, & supporters will be informed with the knowledge and insights of the hosts and be entertained with their stories and experiences. I think the half-time is not actually.... necessary. 😅 Please give Diane her mic. Everything she says is always related to the podcast. Please put the english translations of korean words that the hosts say every episode because the listeners and watchers of the podcast are non-koreans. 😭 so, yeah.

Junny is right, friendship soulmates are real...and you can have more than one. If you're lucky, you'll have more than one over your lifetime.
Some people believe that you have a lot of soulmates such as friends, family, etc and sometimes they come into your life to teach you something. It's different for everyone.

I noticed that BM was the one really navigating the conversations last season. He is a really open personality. Peniel and Ashley are good people but they are not as open and transparent with people they don’t know so a lot of conversations here are blocked by them to go deeper. I see in this season they are giving one sentence answers not as many stories or jokes like last season. I think junny is alot more open and transparent so he does a good job of filling BMs space but I don’t think Ashley and Peniel match his energy sometimes which makes it feel off. Anyone feel the same way?
Feedback for dive studios:
1. Please give Diane a microphone, we would love to hear her input
2. Please bring back the old format with mail time at the end. Even if the hosts sidetrack at time it’s okay because as a listener we like to hear their stories & what they’ve gone through as well
3. Please stop the games, I don’t feel that the games add any input to the podcast & it just waste time.
All in all I still love the podcast & will continue to listen but I feel that it can be so much better. 💕

If it ain't broke, don't fix it - that's how I feel towards the new format of this podcast. Season 1 felt like I was just chillin' with the hosts, which I like. Hope this is just an experimental phase...
some feedback: i feel like the new format sometimes prevents u guys from getting deeper into the topic or even to stay with the topic and destroys the flow of the episode. I dont mind it when yall get sidetracked and talk about different topics and stories, i actually enjoy those talks alot more sometimes but in general the conversations dont feel as natural and more forced.
Also i think the game in the middle doesnt really add much to the episode and again destroys the flow, i always catch myself thinking „oh no what its already half time and now they are gonna waste some time with the game“ :( especially when they are more visual based which is a struggle when you are just listening to the episode and not watching the video.
nevertheless im still a big fan of this podcast and i love all three hosts so much and im always happy when i see that a new episode released. i think the problems are also just some minor issues and will get better with time. thank you guys for doing this and making my weeks more enjoyable!!

as someone who likes listening the episodes better than watching them, i'd like to say that the game section was a bit annoying to listen to. it's too visual, plus, it doesn't rly add to the topic. At least me, I enjoy Get Real cuz I get to listen people with a rly different background and life experiences than mine speaking comfortably on usual but important topics of life and to know a lil bit of their real selves. thank you, Junny, for describing the cards and all tho.
btw, Junny is a cutiepie and rly relatable :) and the song he feats on Jay B's album is the best one on the album imo :)))

Also, i love this podcast and have been following every episode but it's getting a little boring, i don't really like the new format cause it's seems a little forced and awkward for them, i liked it better when they talked about their experiences more. Junny is doing great but miss BM too :(

I am trying to like season 2 but it feels forced.
Man do I miss season 1 and rewatch it often, loved their genuine interaction and getting to know them. I am still sticking around though, it just doesn’t feel the same. Wish they would change the new format, old format was way better.
Junny is killing it with these podcasts - sometimes it feels like he’s the one doing it the longest. Such a good addition even though I thought it would go downhill after BM left. Good job Junny and Dive studios for finding an energetic and engaging host 💕
I was really trying to give it a chance even without Matthew because he was really the only reason I watched.
I don't like the new format where its all about viewer questions. I want to hear about them and their lives and what they've been doing like it was in the first season.
Yeah I noticed that was missing too. It's like they start off with viewership questions? Also it seems that they don't really go in depth. I knew this was gonna happen tho when Matthew left.
I miss Matthew a lot too. I feel like he added a lot of goofiness into the episodes.
How can peniel be this funny
Junny was right about soulmates being friends too. Some people believe that soulmates can be people you meet who are sometimes there to teach you a lesson. When he said " you have to be happy on your own first" I started thinking about when I said exactly that to my friend. Everyone has different things that they believe and there's nothing wrong with that. It's not good to depend on someone or something to make you happy though. I don't think about superstitions too much. Every now and then maybe but nothing particular is usually ever on my mind. I think they all had some great advice and opinions.
I know what JUNNY means, I sleep with my AC on also. The drop in temperature makes things compress, like wooden dressers, or building materials, in JUNNY’s case “clicking” walls. My wooden dresser creaks and pops, but it’s still scary as hell.
Idk if this makes sense... but wood shrinks and expands depending on the temperature.
@@bunbunxed yeah it’s very science-y, and my explanation was vague. Wood expands when it’s warm, and contracts when cold. When it shrinks, it rubs against other materials it’s either nailed or bolted too? That’s why I used my dresser as an example, it’s just wood pieces nailed/glued together, so when it gets cold, those pieces contract into each other making those sounds.
I am looooving Junny’s vibe a lot more as time goes by. I thought he wouldn’t match BM’s energy but damn he has a great chemistry with the two which is amazing!! Plus he has a lot of insights and interesting opinions so please dive make him permanent even if BM comes back. I’d love an OT4 get real🤩
Peniel doesn’t like clingy girls but he did say on another podcast that Korean girls are more clingy than American girls but I think peniel you should think about setting expectations early on in a relationship by letting the girl know that you aren’t into someone too clingy or that you’re not into check ins so you don’t continue meeting girls who are.
I think this would be smart too. At least then he would be able to express that he's not looking for someone clingy and what he would prefer. It could change every relationship depending on the situation and the person.
Peniel's in really fine form, roasting everyone else. I enjoy hearing Junny and Ashley's conversations. Also, the conversations seemed to flow easier when everyone sat together at a rectangular table like last season.

i am emotional right now by this story that person told about meeting someone who died and have put they on track to find a purpose, many people that have crossed my life also left me with a different perspective about life and lessons i didn't know at the moment

I agree with Ashley about soulmates. What I didn't like was Peniel's response to her. Ashley is entitled to her own opinion and belief.
go peniel! hahaha. dont worry, we feel you. a lot of us are not yet used to this new format too. but tbh, s1 format is a lot better. i read a lot of comment in twitter saying the same.
Some feedback: This episode wasn't great. The main topic wasn't really discussed properly - too much sidetracking, stumbling, one word answers, awkward pauses and joking but nothing of substance. If you skip the ads/sponsors/intro, the Destiny part was like 10 mins. That is no time for any good discussion/banter imo.
The best part about the earlier episodes of Season 1, was that while there was a lot of tangents and side stories, it all related and added back to the relevant conversation, and jokes really came off naturally because of it. This episode felt like the hosts were forced by their school teachers to present a project that they didn't want to do, rather than a conversation among mates.
A suggestion is more interesting/meaningful topic and the episodes aim to be at least one hour, or cut a little bit back on questions/games. Dive Studios could even insert an extra ad/sponsor because of the added length.
I love this podcast. These idols helped me through some really tough times especially during the current world situation. I love their personality and friendship. But this podcast could be better with some changes. Thanks.

Agree with you. Sometimes the questions feel like kinda jumping (not really 자연스럽다 (?)) and the new format makes the hosts have limited time to discuss on the topic. I usually listen to this podcast on spotify or youtube with screen off while doing something else, so, sorry to say this, but imo this season is hard to listen to. Besides, i think the games in the middle of convos are kinda not natural and not really listener friendly.

Junny so great in every episode
junny is doing a great job, he's really good. but i still feel kinda awkward atmosphere between them. maybe it will takes time for peniel and ashley to build a chemistry with junny, besides he's new here (not to mention their age gap is kinda big, it's not like peniel ashley and bm that only have a year gap) but i believe that the chemistry will grow up as time goes by, we'll see it, soon.
I think the atmosphere is awkward because of the new format of the podcast, not because of Junny. Their chemistry is great imo.

I definitely get how people compare season 1 to now but its still the beginning! (Kinda? lol) I remember past episodes it was a bit awkward because they were all still new to the whole podcast format but OVER TIME the hosts got used to it and more comfortable.. i do agree the scripts are not my favorite but maybe this is just something they are trying out and seeing if it works or not with everyone. Nonetheless I am looking forward to all the amazing guests for this season for dive studios in general!!! ☺️
been watching this show since the first episode, and i was really surprised when they announced a second season with a new format since almost everything about the first season is perfect as it is. the meaning behind the title "get real" was seen in each and every episode of the first season. the topics were actually discussed and the flow of the conversations were spontaneous (whether there were guests or none). there were almost no awkward moments or silences and even though there were scripts in the first season (just like in the second one), they were able to converse and talk naturally that i sometimes don't even notice they have scripts or who is the 'main' mc in the episode.
aside from the format, i also prefer the previous setting(?) with just plain table and chairs (the current one kinda looks messy for me) with no seats assigned. also, the current assigned seat for the main mc looks uncomfortable, especially the way the mic stand is located in front, instead in the side.
i also agree with the other comments especially with the mini game they had in this episode, this was a podcast in the first place (just like any other dive studio shows, and full video of the episodes were just added later on) and it was not sort of podcast-friendly.
It would also be great if diane has a mic or atleast her voice be heard (like in ttp and hdigh), for us to relate or understand what they are talking about in some parts.
i really love this show and these are just my opinion and feedback as someone who has been watching this ever since. i hope that everything will improve and be better for the succeeding episodes 😊 get real fighting!

Wow what a story for the young lady who found a new life in Korea after tragedy. I think in general we sing this song that says “there may be pain in the night but Joy comes in the morning..” never know what life will bring us. But God means for good and prosper. Look at Ruth and Naomi in the Bible…a beautiful thing came from what started out as tragic. From widows to obedience to getting remarried to lineage of Jesus. Wishing her the best in Korea 😃

I heard a pastor explain soul mates in detail once and it made better sense. Once married soul mate is made over time and lots of iron sharpens iron etc. there will always have been others out there you coulda been with too and all could make good matches. But fact still would remain..making a soul mate is key and takes work. Best results are God at the center of it all. The covenant made makes two into one. 😊😊

Seriously, I don't get why some people criticize the new format. I really like it that there are some new elements and changes to it.~ it makes it new and fresh 😁 and this time it felt more like a hangout with friends 😉 + Junny seems to be a really cool & nice guy 👍
It's more like constructive criticism. I prefer the format of the first season. You don't have to agree with the comments, but I do think nothing is wrong with giving feedback to this show. Remember, we're the audience, and that can make or break a show or podcast. The critiques aren't nasty or mean, at least mine wasn't and some of the ones that I read. I want them to win, not lose because I honestly like the show, it's just now in season 2, everything seems forced, they're awkward, to much dead silence, and the show isn't flowing like it used to. At the end of the day, we can all agree to disagree.

i feel that if we focus on the bad things, we tend to see only the bad things. For me, I have taught myself to live in the moments that happen. Good or Bad, I will enjoy the Good and Learn from the Bad.

I dream a lot and have the craziest dreams. I’ve started writing them down as soon as I wake up, and I’ve started to see similarities between past and present dreams.
I don't get the awkwardness of them this season. They should be used to each other, and used to Junny as well even though he's new. I truly love watching you guys, but Dive, not sure if you guys read comments, the platform change is boring. The games seems forced, the naturalness of the first season is no longer there, it just seems like an uncomfortable mess.
Yeah, it was more interesting and it felt more real when they talked about their experiences and anecdotes.
And I don't think is because of Junny because when he was a guest it didn't felt this awkward, at least not for me, in fact he was one of my favorite guests in season 1. But the new format feels like they're rushing to get to the next email/segment, I mean is cute they want to listen more to the fans, but the smoothness is not there anymore...
I think it’s because Ashley, BM, and peniel were already friends before the podcast and junny is added but he’s still getting to know Ashley and peniel who are already friends also he’s a bit younger than them so that’s why it’s a little off idk junny shouldn’t change I just think the dynamics are different because junny is new and his personality isn’t big he’s a little low key but I do like his honesty and being willing to open up.
Unpopular opinion: Junny is the mvp of this season. He’s a professional because he’s trying to make conversations out of nothing in these past episodes. Ashley and peniel arent giving much in my opinion. I miss BM don’t get me wrong but I really like Junny’s old soul nature. I feel like the setup is weird as hell too.
@@ElenyM I totally agree. After watching the previous episodes for the second season, I did realize it wasn't Junny . Ashley and Penile aren't adding anything to the dynamics. I think the reason why the first of season was so successful, because Ashley and Peniel had BM to keep the conversations going, and it made you think it was all three, but proof now shows it was BM only. I really do miss him because honestly, BM made the show what it was in the first season, and I believe most people tuned in for him.
