“It is precisely this tragic situation that Christian doctrine explains when it speaks of eternal damnation of hell. It is not a punishment imposed eternally by God, but a development of premises already set by people in this life.” - John Paul II, July 28, 1999 “Our Lady opened her hands once more as she had done the two previous months. The rays of light appeared to penetrate the earth and we saw, as it were, a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire, we saw the demons and souls of the damned. The latter were like transparent burning embers, all blackened and burnished bronze. Having human forms, there were floating about in that conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that were issued within themselves, together with great clouds of smoke. Now they fell back on every side like sparks in huge fires without weight or equilibrium amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fright. The demons were distinguished by the souls of the damned by their terrifying and repellant likeness to frightful, unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals.” - Sister Lucia, 1917 apparition
It is not an understatement to say that the Polish People’s faith in God and His Church saved the world from global atheistic communism. May God continue to bless the people of Poland.
John Paul II praised John Calvin as one who was trying to “make the Church more faithful to the will of the Lord.” - June 14, 1984 John Paul II said of Martin Luther: “Our world even today experiences his great impact on history.” - October, 1983 “But later, even more care was required when the Lutherans and Calvinists dared to oppose the changeless doctrine of the faith with an almost incredible variety of errors. They left no means untried to deceive the faithful with perverse explanations of the sacred books.” - Pope Gregory XVI, Encyclical, May 8, 1844

Indeed, I can attest to the fact that Pope John Paul Is Very Spiritual. After his passing and I was in a "Spiritual-Transitional-Fasting" for three (3) days. I saw the Pope's Tombstone in my dream. It was an experience I can never forget. I have had the fasting 3 times in my lifetime without seeing anything. Thank God Almighty for our lives! "Papal Santo Subito".
You Russians enslaved us Poles for centuries. Learn the failure of your culture, which had its church completely crushed by the communists, while the Poles used their Church to crush the Communists.
@@Rotebuehl1You must forgive them. Orthodox subscribe to the heresy of ethnophyletism. They are not one Church but separate autocephalous churches divided along ethnic and linguistic lines. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and Holy Mother Church are above all races and languages.
Thanks for sharing this. I just happened to be listening to Sir Roger Scruton talking about the Pope's visit to Poland in this video: th-cam.com/video/1eD9RDTl6tM/w-d-xo.html and have an interest in tracking down what it was like to live for most people under hardline socialist governments...and this is a pretty good window into the level of control both in the media (not the reporting agency) and the self-censure of imposed cultural control.
It's just sad that the Poles didn't understand that they were removing the crusaders of Europe. When churches were being forcibly repurposed and religion was being suppressed it was the crusaders who were opening the churches again for the people
This was a freat day for my country,he gave us so much joy, hope, courage. We miss him very much,he was sent to us by God,will never be forgotten.
Mów za siebie
Love Poland for its staunch Catholicism

Is that the only reason?
