They are also identical to the Tecniglobe Golds I had fitted to my NC750. They worked perfectly, really hot too. Like you I don’t like the ugly Oxford controller so wanted something with an integrated controller but weren’t as expensive/worked better than the OEM Honda ones.
Just bought some of these myself, yet to fit them, I didn’t realise you were local to me in Warrington till you rode over the Mersey gateway bridge, thanks for the informative video
Me too. When I remember to bring them. Weather was so variable 5 degrees to 35 degrees, I decided to put these ON the bike. Will still use my heated gloves in winter. 👍
Yes it would have been my next option. Only thing is it tends to glue things in place. These hold fine without glue. Handy if/when I need to remove them. Also I have no hairspray 😉👍👍
As I said in video I have them on 2 bikes. Had them on my 690 2 years. Not the hottest, but much neater than previous Oxford. However, I see Oxford have now introduced a similar version. I'd expect those to be hotter than these. (Hot Grips Pro). I'll probably go with those next time. 👍
Pricey. But if part of a pack I reckon they’ll be fine. Nothing is as hot as Oxford grips, but I can’t stand that button. Just me I guess. PS I’m a red 😂😉👍
In the next episode: cooling grips for the trip to Spain.
Now why hasn't someone invented those 😂

I suspect they may all come from the same Eastern supplier. But I like them too 👍

"It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it!" Steven Wright. Glad the video was useful. See you at J&S one day 👍
Oxford do a pro grip now, no control box on handle bars, just a button like the one in the vid
Good news! I wonder if it is a hot as the old ones. They were always toasty! 👍👍
Trust me the Oxford ones are pure crap no heat and keeps turning themselves hot to cold
Got Oxfords on my CBX. Heated grips are the best accessory you can fit to your bike. End of.
Agreed. I always fit them eventually. 👍
You’ve added a lot of convenient stuff to your bike, very nice.
Cheers, just what I need as I go along 👍
I've been very happy with my heated gloves, so I don't feel the need to add heated grips too.

Hand grip lube. Ever thought about using hairspray? Slick at the start then goes tacky over a short period.

I’ve heard Honda will be announcing in October the CB500x 2024. Is this true. I believe the bike will be getting a upgrade and sporty face lift.
Could happen. Bike shows will be in full swing then. Worth waiting. 👍
Keep meaning to ask, what make is your screen extender and any link to it?
It's the cheapest 28cm clear spoiler from eBay. (£11 UK). There are many suppliers.
Cheers
How are you finding them now in the cooler weather? Are they hot enough?

Thanks for the reply… I’ve heard people say the same about the new Oxford ones. Just not hot enough.
I’m looking at buying the cb500x soon with the comfort pack. Anyone know what the heated grips are like.
Pricey. But if part of a pack I reckon they’ll be fine. Nothing is as hot as Oxford grips, but I can’t stand that button. Just me I guess. PS I’m a red 😂😉👍
@@CodgerBiker cheers for the advice and that the first time I’ll ever take advice from a red 🥴
Good luck. I'm looking forward to seeing the 2024 model also. 👍👍
