I collect never used Venetian Zippo made before 2000 for a very short time, as they came in my mailbox so well preserved I don't want to use them. So I searched one for my daily use but I wanted to find an used venetian chrome from my year of birth (1994). I was so happy to find one on ebay for a very good price. Problem is when I receive it it doesnt make the clicking sound (and the hinge was very loose) Thanks to you it's now clicking again ! Thank you so much Joe for the help 👍

So if its a loose cam how do you fix that ? You showed it can be one of two problems but only give us the solution to one

If the cam is loose, it would need a new insert as spring repair is financially unviable. I loose cam or weak spring will also have an effect on how tight the lid closes.

Think I got 60s one and it sounds like unsheathing a sword and was lighting first try flawlessly but I think the wheel wearing out and that’s bad cuz what happened with my other one was that happened and I ended up pushing that whole top plate loose
