back when i was ten i saw and touched the real flying Dutchman we were driving along on a road in Hawaii when i spoted some black masts when we got close we got to a gate with a nice and friendly guard who said we can get to see it, it was huge and looked just like it was in the movies, a little upset that the ship was metal instead of wood though

"sigh" I know, I know, it's a movie, what do you expect . . . but they did so well on a lot of other sailing things. Like when they club-hauled the . I was jumping up and down in my seat yelling "Oh my God, they're club-hauling!" Yes, I am a serious nautical geek, I know. Anyway beautiful model!
a few questions. How long to build in real time? What stain/wash did you use for the timber? Did the electronics/led lighting come with it? How high is the quality?
I recommend make your own I made one handsized it's not same but it's fantastic with A peice plywood Paper Broom sticks Threads Matchestics Paint and that's all.
