Kateyama Test Days Misano 28-29/2/2024: 296 GT3, MCXtrema, GR Supra GT4 EVO, Huracán GT3 EVO2

- Every year during the winter break my desire to get back on track and record some raw action from pre-season testing grows more and more. And it seems 2024 has started in a superlative way as I found my favorite weather conditions for the first Kateyama test day of the year at Misano Wolrd Circuit. Wet track means more powerslides, traction control noises and lot of water spray which allows you to visualize the work of aerodynamics.
Not many teams took part at this two-days session but there was an interesting variety of cars with some GT3-class machines, a Supra GT4 EVO, a new Maserati MC20 GT2 and the MCXtrema, Maserati's 740 hp track-only toy recorded in action on track for the first time!

The MCXtrema car is absolutely incredible in terms of engine sounds.

Per la Ferrari XX e corse clienti del Mugello a metà marzo bisogna avere dei biglietti o si può andare sugli spalti senza problemi?
Purtroppo ne so quanto te... l'unico consiglio che ti darei è di provare a scrivere una mail direttamente all'indirizzo dell'autodromo. Prima della pandemia queste giornate al Mugello erano aperte al pubblico e totalmente gratuite (ovviamente paddock chiuso ma prati accessibili). Dal 2020 in poi so che le han sempre fatte a porte chiuse..

Blue one is the MCXtrema while the full carbon fiber MC20 at 3:16, for example, is the GT2
