"Mugging" Luncheon + Explore the West Block on Parliament Hill | Ottawa 🇨🇦

Last time I was on Parliament Hill, Ottawa, the West Block was still under renovation. The project was completed in November 2018 and the House of Commons began sitting in the building in January 2019.
This time, I had a quick tour after being invited to the Mugging Luncheon, a Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery tradition. Twice a year, they honour journalists who have left the gallery with speeches and lunch, and give them an engraved mug to commemorate their time covering federal politics.
