@@reducecotwo Well, Brian has given us 40+ more years of AC/DC and Bon was the one who planted the seed in Angus and Malcom's head about Brian. Bon saw him singing with his band Gordie in a club one night and was so impressed, he told the brothers about Brian and jokingly said "If anything ever happens to me, he's the guy for the job"... Then Bon accidentally drank himself to death just a few years later. I'd say that's fate and that Brian was meant to be their lead singer....

Angus Young is one of the most iconic and most influential guitar players on the planet. I was at this tour and he did a 30 minute guitar solo raised up on a scissor lift in the middle of the arena. Every time he would start to stop the crowd went crazy so he kept playing. Brian Johnson rode a bell and was lifted off the stage while singing and that giant Rosie float was in all its glory. They even had a cannon salute. Still to this day one of my top 3 shows I've ever seen in my life.

Nothing beats a live rock concert- being there, the energy is amazing- from the band AND the audience! Going to ask again- Blackbird by Alter Bridge! Is LFR Family your dad? If so, he’s already reacted to it, and he was BLOWN AWAY! So if you want another great Alter Bridge song, from a live concert, you have to see Words Darker Than Their Wings by Alter Bridge, the video, Live from Royal Albert Hall. The note he hits at the end will give you goosebumps on top of goosebumps! I recommend the live version so you can see he can actually hit that note live, and it’s just not recorded “studio magic”. Keep up the great work- love what you do! 🤘🏼🤘🏼❤️

They’re that good because for the most part, those people who fill stadiums have played since they were young. Every day for hours. They played small clubs. They toured months at a time. They recorded to tape and you had to learn a song until it was muscle memory. No different than a basketball player shooting hoops every day until it got too dark to see. It takes practice, dedication and heart. There are a couple of bands on my bucket list and I’d take a second mortgage to go see them. It’s that good.

Dude your reaction to the blow up doll was great lol I had the same reaction the first time I ever saw a video of it! I've never seen AC/DC live but a good friend of mine, who actually got me into them back in middle school, saw them back in 2008 and said they really know how to put on a SHOW. The crazy things like this that they do are what make them so unique. They're a bunch of guys having the time of their lives on stage putting every ounce of energy they have into the music and getting the crowd so into it. I really respect that about them. I've only become a bigger fan of them over the years.
Their latest album, Power Up, is excellent. The song they initially released from it, Shot in the Dark, is a really catchy song and one of my favorites off the album. Check it out if you haven't! Their 2008 album, Black Ice, is also another newer album absolutely worth checking out. The first track off that album, Rock N Roll Train, is probably my favorite off that album and one that they played live at this show in River Plate.

We were awesome kids... we got our frustrations out through music. Remember, it was a time where: There was no Internet, no cell phones (we remembered our friends' phone numbers by heart), went to the arcade to meet up with people and just generally hung out and listened to each others vinyl and cassette tapes. It was an awesome time to be alive in the 70's and 80's.

Playing like Angus or Jimmi Hendrix is a great life goal. Remember that they were self taught and they literally played until their fingers were bleeding as part of that process.
To answer your question, we grew up under the shadows of nuclear mushrooms that hadn't gone up yet. We knew we were 30 minutes away from pasturized planet, and some of us went insane, but most of us nodded, excepted and moved on with trying to enjoy life and the world around us. We didn't obsess over little crap, and we stopped being scared because those megatons of temper tantrum weren't personal, but they could be here about as fast as a pizza. And at that point, well, the lucky would be vaporized before they saw the flash. The kinda lucky would be negative photos burned against a wall. The ones you're still envous of would feel the pain, then get crushed by the overpressure. The people who didn't have it too bad would run out of air in the rubble in half an hour or so. And the ones who lived... we weren't going to be jealous of those unfortunate bastards.

    The story behind this song...
Original singer of AC/DC, Bon Scott, went out alone one night after a show. He met a woman named Rosie. I dont remember the exact number, but she told him, "I've slept with 16 famous people." Bon went home with her. The next morning when he woke up, she looked at him and said, "17." So, he wrote a song about the experience.

Not entirely true. Bon and Malcolm were treated to some food by some 'fans' one night, and in return for the food and hospitality apparently one of the girls (called Rosie) wanted something more from Bon. There's interviews where Malcolm tells the story & that's where the song comes from.

Great channel, keep it up and I'm so happy you dig the Beastly AC DC but you gotta see them with Bon Scott in from the mid to late 70's. Pile drivin red hot rock and roll. Angus would run around like a maniac and Bon was just the best front man with a devious smile. What an amazing band from the hard life poverty level in Australia. The two guitarists Angus and Malcolm's older brother's got famous as part of The Easybeats, wrote all kinds of hits and got AC DC their break. Legendary.

It is a little long but very detailed and I am now playing. He gives all the lessons in that course so you can just go one to another. Once you learn to play then you can expand but it is overwhelming on where to start and he lays it all out one lesson at a time for you.

Love your transforming in to hardrock (surprised you don't listen to it private..yet), all you say is just what it is, it's live, its real and its fun!
Back then there were about as many guitarists, drummers etc. as there are hiphoppers/rappers today, and at that time it rained music
and they were hellbent dedicated to do the best and you only had yourself, your instrument and the sheer joy of play!
The time given and spent with the instrument and around music was about all the time...very much time spent with it instead of internet (it wasn't even heard of) so i guess you reach a point its not much you can do just by instinct, we shall not forget the members not seen so much as drummers because they pull the train, take us to the insane cooperation between them all do this live..no shit - only one chance.
Yes we grow up with this, 1971-72 i was 7-8 years old.. from then there is no turning back.
