@@SStrikeFury i think it started 3 yrs ago when pekomama first appear on stream then tease pekora by copying pekora and saying peko. pekora saying peko at the end of sentence also vanished since that time.

@@SStrikeFury IIRC she stopped using that laugh because it was hurting her throat. Even some of the other members were making fun of her for changing her laugh. But it's been a while so I don't remember all the details. But it was around the time when she had to take a hiatus to heal her throat.

I feel like at the end of the Collab, any Holomems will have "Akutan" Aqua sitting on their laps like a little doll, squeaking "Nne" Every once in a while.
I remember one very specific moment during AZKi's Minecraft stream when she saw Aqua, and she just stared at her like she's a rare specimen while Aqua backs off and hides in her underground home. That's it, that's the entire interaction lol.

It's true, even aside from Azki and Aqua, this really is a rare combo. It's hard for me to think of any particularly memorable streams any 2 of these have done together. (I mean, I'm absolutely certain that Pekora and Fubuki have collabed together before, but even then, I'm hard pressed to think of a one-on-one collab they did together.) tbf, I don't really keep up at all with what either Azki or Aqua do, so either of them might regularly stream with Pekora or Fubuki, though I doubt it.

not a surprise that it's been 5 years, everyone's so busy and there's so many holomems to talk to that it feels like it gets difficult to remain actively close to dozens, if not over a hundred, different people over time.

This is probably more common than you think among Holomems. They all have their own lives with friends or family outside of Hololive and while there is bff's in HL I wouldn't be surprised if most of the Holomems are work friends.

Pekora opened a lot, more than Aqua, after her "Hey Moona" arc
Pekora already had the idea of giving everyone codenames when using the radio during her last LC collab (w/ Korone, Flare, Irys) but was ignored. 😂
Luckily, Fubuki also played LC (w/ Polka, Aki, Roboco) using codenames so they went with it.
Aqua is more introvert than Pekora, or more like, she's more social inept and shy. Since Aqua is more senior/senpai, and she got too big, I get it that newer members might be reluctant to interact with her first because of that, and Aqua couldnt initiate for collab/interaction because of her shyness. So Aqua just doesnt do much collab with other members. Thus she got the nickname "Sololive".

Azki joined Hololive main branch in April 2022. Back then INNK music is a joint branch of Hololive with Upd8, it's basically a separate agency. Even Suisei rarely collab with Hololive when she's still in INNK music, her major 'Hololive debut' happened on July 2019 during the Project Winter arc, where she earned her nickname 'Suicopath' where her actually joining Hololive is in December of the same year. Interestingly that Project Winter is also the first time Mikochi played with Suisei, as previously Mikochi also from different branch and two degree separated from INNK music.
You'd be suprised how common it is.

Hmm... I just don't see Aqua in collabs a lot. Don't remember her interacting with anyone Gen 4 and up or overseas branches (with the exception of Towa). There does seem to be a few from GEN 3 and below whom she seems to be closer with. Her gen mates, gamers, MiComet, Pekora and Marine comes to mind.
Not that weird actually, putting aside her social anxiety Hololive members actually have limited group collabs because of schedule and the huge roster of talents nowadays. Even members from same gen rarely collab with each other past their first few month. Gen 4 never had a full gen collab since Coco graduation, Gen 2 took many years to gather them all together (hence the nickname Hololive Exodia). If anything it's the newer gen that's the outlier, during Hololive early days the talents is not a fulltime streamer like todays and most of them are introverts.
You'd be surprised how rare collabs with older gen is if you think about it. Aqua may have collabed with Okayu several times, she has never collabed with Korone in the 5 years they've known each other. They may have talked twice on stream but that's it. Korone and Sora collabs (outside their usual grouping) too are as rare as Aqua's.
That aqua laugh at the end was way louder than i expected, either it was forced or super pure. Either way it was adorable
