How come they made Xuan Ji look so stupid even after she has received her 6 senses? She is always thinking badly of him all the time when what he does is always to protect her and getting misunderstood. I feel so sorry for SiFeng.
Actually in this particular case I can forgive the logic even if it was intended for dramatic effect. In this particular case Xuan Ji had been manipulated and gaslighted by her teacher for her entire life (for more than her human life time actually) and the sort of psycological tangle that can put one in mentally would make her question anyone and everything very much like we see in this show. She's been taught her entire life not to trust her own heart and instincts so she would be completely suceptible to just this sort of distrust and gullibility.
Its not totally xuanji fault. She is used by the heavenly kingdom to kill all the demons. They turn her to god of war to kill all the demons and the hatred in her heart is because of Bailin Dijun betrayed her. When she is mo sha xing luo hao jidu, mo sha xing really trust bai lin dijun but in the end bailin betrayed mo sha xing by turning him into a god of war to kill all demons.

I have seen so many dramas in which the protagonist suffers, but no one has ever suffered as much as Si Feng. 10 lives of pain, suffering and death for love. When I see him feel pain because of the woman he loves, I am sick. 😢

In general I don't like the inconsistency in the female lead's character developments and the dynamics in her story arcs, especially within her own clans. They are supposed to be morally upright and fight the evils, but they act more corrupted and justify their own crimes in the name of countering evil. I mean WTF. If you cannot stand all those righteous "正派", you might just watch 司凤‘s take. Save you time and grief. ❤️
