It would be a good idea of wetting the grass in front of the fire first, that would put a stop to it spreading faster than hitting the fire for a few seconds as it still being hot. Wet grass is a fire stopper.

This is the head fire side of the fire. 1.) It is completely unnecessary to lay a wet line on this side of the fire with these fuel conditions and this kind of fire break and 2.) given #1 and the speed at which the head fire is ignited and the low humidity, wet lining here isn't too feasible. Wet lines immediately ahead of ignition on the back fire and flanks of a burn unit can be extremely effective and are frequently used. At any rate, meaningful wet lines are laid down by rigs carrying more than 75 gallons of water. Using the rig in the video for wet line work wouldn't be very appropriate. Something carrying 250+ gallons would be more appropriate, with the wet line laid down immediately in front of a rear tire, letting the weight of the vehicle mask the water through the thickness of the thatch layer, minimizing chance of burn under. I build those bigger tanks and skids as well.
