My family adopted a girl child some years back. She came certified deaf at 4 months old. But when she came to us her grand ma and everyone interacted with her and talked to her all the time. My brother got all medical tests redone and no issues were found with her hearing. Now she talks all day like a little parrot , very smart and very active. The whole house is wrapped around her little fingers. Turned out in the orphanage they don’t interact at all with babies and because she didn’t respond much to them they certified the baby as deaf !!!!!
I love and wholeheartedly support this ad..... No matter how 'forward' thinking we feel we are...but all MIL's are about doing household chores, having strict discipline and a strict routine.... Nobody cares if we are giving enough time to our kids or not. In this way, I am glad my MIL is not living with me..so I have full freedom to manage chores however I want to while giving lots of time to my baby girl ❤️
I hold hands and beg everyone to follow what is told in video and take good care of child. If you don't spend time with your child till 2 years then u would end up spending rest of your time and child's time in therapy centers, child development clinics and so on..
similiary, happened with my sis, she started speaking at age of 5 year because she was born black and not beautiful...my mom said that-"no one played , talked and expanded time with her😞"....now, i understand it's meaning🤔.
Ye information milte hi husband ki thakavat door ho gyi aur wife ka kam aadha ho gaya. This is a very useful piece of information but who does not want to spend time with their children ( except few). There should be proper holidays and work timings. People are literally working for 12 hours a day for a small salary. Something should be done about that.
In a joint family this is a very common situation where mother in laws always want their daughter in laws to be always busy with house cores rather than wasting their time with baby. Sad but true ☹

The importance of first 1000 days and responsibilities of of the parents for the overall growth and development of the child are highlighted in this video. Thanks to the MOHFW, GOI for producing such a nice video. We should share it with maximum number of parents . Everybody should view it particularly the parents of children less than 2 years age and would be parents.
The first two minutes each day immediately after waking, coming back from school and before sleeping- are very crucial for emotional well-being of a child 👶🏻
🤯🤯🤯 seriously I’ve never thought about it like this but it makes perfect sense!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I taught along side a teacher who would screech, yell, and drop things on the floor to make loud noise just to wake the kids up from nap time. She didn’t wanna walk around and gently tap the children, or to gradually increase her movements and noise level while moving around the room. 😔 I always thought that was sooo disrespectful. Also my mom would yell throughout the house to wake us kids up. I started waking up in a panic, heart racing. I resented her for that. I thought I was being too sensitive when I would desired a softer approach. But truly it’s absolutely horrible to be woken up day after day with stress, coldness, and urgency. I most certainly know it took a toll on our relationship and my mental health. Little does she know that she was promoting horrible sleep practices. We wouldn’t eat dinner til 9pm or later and was expected to go to sleep right after. Not to mention how the childhood depression made feeling well rested and energized difficult. I wish more people knew about and respected these simple little 2 minute and how it can truly help to build a beautiful relationship centered around respect.
I’d also like to add that by incorporating these intentional 2 minutes into a child’s day (3x). They will have accumulated 73 HOURS of healthy relationship building time in just 2 years! 🤯🤯🤯
My mom also practiced the “cry it out”method for bed time. And from a very early age we were with nannies, babysitters or went to daycare after school. Spent many long evenings after school away from home until I was old enough to be a latch-key kid. Which meant late dinners right before bed 😔 it also meant that my mother was “too tired” for the 2 minutes B4 bed. But her long nights were worth sacrificing family time… She was able to afford a Lexus and a Cadillac and to struggle to seemingly keep up with her white counterparts in THEIR neighborhood that we moved into. Fun Times 😑
My mom always says never leave him alone, talk to him, play with him, sing for him...but when I get back to my husband's house I can't spend time with him, bcus of jobs of a wife, daughter in law, sister in law....😔 Now I decided never ever gonna leave him alone.
So, this is one of the perks of living in a big family with Aunts and Uncle and grandma and grandpa and all those. They keep the child busy and with more people in house the child is well taken care of. I am not against neutral family. I grew up in one. But I believe a big family is better when a small baby is involved.
Truth., In real-time we used to see so many kids who are struggling to speak. It's everyone responsibility in the family. If you see a child, just speak & play with her/him. Do support. Let's spread for goodness❤️
I remember the childhood of my poor sister in law. She was born in a joint family as a first child. But no one talked or cuddled her because she is a girl. Her mom(my mother in law) couldn't care her because of the heavy household chores. Fortunately she didn't get affected by this. No baby should go through it 😢😢😢
I'm proud tht my husband didn't allow me to go to work after having our baby We r soooooo proud that we gave her the best pet of her life in a best way ever N she is 2.3 now n she is a very naughty n happy baby
This is from this message I got the knowledge that first 1000days of a kid are very important. But it is too late I have 3 kids above 3 years...they are all silent and shy type..now I think that it may be because of my carelessness. As in this film, me too was busy with householdchores and their papa never interested in playing with kids! I feel guilty now😓
No dear ,you dont have to feel guilty .A child is like a sponge upto 7 years.you can edit them correct them ,boost them and give them support an they will have a good foundation. After age 7 it will be difficult .
I can understand what you are saying, many husbands don't give priority to their children neither they are interested in helping wife for household chores or hire maid, it's very difficult for a woman to take care of everything at once..these things have very deep impact in child psychology..I believe parents should bring children only if they have proper understanding amongst themselves and ready to invest time

Also, the sister-in-law (amrita in this video) herself could have helped the mother in household chores. Instead she plays with the child & let's mother handle all chores. Later she is explaining that parents should spend time with children. How can a mother spend time with children when no one in the house is helping her finish her work?
@@shaziyamuzaffar5437 Its because she has come home for short stay. After she leaves then who will help. And generally such families wont let their daughter work in first place. Everyone is talking about MILs forcing the new Moms to do the house chores. So ultimately the blame is put on another woman who, in most cases, know no better than to follow what was done to her. Why isn't anyone, including women , talking about how the men in the house are not intervening? FIL being silent is doing the same thing as MIL just in a passive way. No need to start the justification of "but this is a traditional set up, here women do the chores, FIL might have done his share of raising the family in his younger years", no, it should be a joint effort. If you decide to have kids, take the responsibility to raise them properly. They did not ask to be born. It was the choice of parents or in many traditional Indian houses, the "elders".
This is good info but if gov will provide more maternity privilege to working moms then it will become beneficial. Otherwise it will be in book like an info.
If only adults understood a lesson in 4.46 minutes.
