I'm going to try it in a woven next 👍. Great to see you walking in the woods with William and Bailey 😁... I've been enjoying the autumn colours too this year 🍁. Loving Strictly too...such a pick me up isn't it. Hi Becky, I love your Bertha cardigan, it really suits you and is such a lovely colour! The simple sew dress looks like it's going to be a lovely dress too, so will look forward to seeing that finished. I love strictly too! I'd love to be doing what they're doing every day! We watch DVDs too when there's nothing on TV and I'm always living some up from the charity shop, watching them and then taking them back for them to re-sell. We've just recently got Amazon prime and we have watched the green book and the professor and the madman, both of which are based on true stories. Both really good! Xx

New parents are so lucky now with all the programs that are available for them to enjoy, whether in person or virtually. Forty some years ago I would have loved to be part of that kind of programs. But nothing beats being at able to get out for a walk. It certainly is good for you, mentally and physically. The Bertha cardigan is lovely and will look great with your new dress. We just watched the Back to the Future Series a few weeks ago!

@@NotesfromtheSewingRoom My eldest son is 17 and I’m still friends with some of the mums I met when he was 5 weeks old. It’s lovely when you start getting invited to lots of first birthday parties. I found that the postnatal classes was the best place to meet people. x

I got the fabric from a shop called material girl fabrics based in sutton in ashfield in the uk, you can find them on Facebook. It's a cotton Jersey. They post out orders and are good at answering questions on facebook direct messages, I hope that helps 🙂

@@NotesfromtheSewingRoom I made it in jersey. I felt the neckline was really low, I found some elastic lace in my stash and fashioned a sort of modesty panel to sew inside the front neck, but I'm still a bit meh about it
