Anti defection law should be more clarified as if a person wishes to vote against a bill because he thinks it is not right on the basis of this it can be considered defection or by using "Whip" the members of a party has to vote for their party whether they wish to or not, isn't it is compromising the democracy of a party in a democratic nation.

Sir, at 28:48 you’ve said SC in Keshvananda case declared judicial review as part of basic structure but I believe that was done in Minerva Mills. Please clarify.
Basic structure doctrine was established during the Kesavananda Bharathi case and not Minerva Mills.

People in remote areas nd uneducated people are unaware of constitution ,democracy nd other political institutions,, bt one thng they are well aware is POLITICAL PARTY, the clear visible political institution is political party,, so majority of them vote for the individual who belong to a political party.
Sir if anyone is disqualified on the basis of anti defection law then he will not be able to take the post of minister in government. But my question is for how long they will not be a minister???
