I was totally waiting for you to do a video like this. I hate the idea that some of the male body candles do not have good matches for the made to move dolls. Also I was happy when you said that you are obsessed with making your fashionistas made to move. I don’t so much collect a lot of the newer fashionistas. However, I do tend to pick my older Barbies that were limited edition or black label dolls which as you know get incredibly expensive. I literally just swapped Barbie chocolate obsession with a to move body and yes it was PRICEY! BUT I LOVE HER 😍
Thanks for your videos, it's extremely helpful! I managed to headswap my Ken Fashionistas #176 with a Severus Snape Mattel doll because I wanted to give him a more bulky look. The body is quite similar to a broad Ken body yet articulated. The skintone match isn't 100% perfect, the body is a bit lighter but it works good enough!
Please can you tell me what body you used for Fashionista 143? I've rebodied her on to the Basketball player M2M body but the colour match is off. This is all so confusing!!
I know there are MTM bodies that match her skin tone (like the one with the floral pants and the bun) but they are not curvy bodies. I don't want to lose the curvy body just to make it MTM.
Why do people want to change all their Barbies bodies to made to move..? ….made to move Barbies are expensive… I would only do a few but I would rather switch my Barbie to a Curvy body if I have repeat Barbies fashionista…but to each is own…

She is on the floral bun who is a bit darker than the basketball player
could I ask if the yellow top and the purple pants mtm dolls have the same skintone ?
They are ALMOST identical. In some lights, the yellow top is a bit lighter, but the purple pants and yellow top are pretty much interchangeable

Sadly not :( Model #2 would probably be a little to dark and the curvy dancer would be a little too light
