You want to sell local. An idea you could always look into setting up at your local antique mall. Make sure to do buisness cards or flyers so you can promote your booth, just a thought if facebook doesnt pan out.
This bothers me…I’m just starting a woodworking business and plan to sell on FB marketplace. I’d heard Etsy shutting people down, but not Facebook. Good to know. Good luck to you!
Best of luck, Sir. I hope you get it resolved snd give us an update when you do... it's only a side gig for me, but I do depend on Marketplace to get the word out. Thanks!

Maybe you should contact your member of congress. If this approach is being used by a company or companies, then perhaps it is time for law makers to make these people accountable for their actions/inactions. Relatively, these types of business are a new thing, and laws governing their actions aren't adequately developed. They should be, at least, responsible for explaining their actions in such circumstances.
I didn't think about this, but it is a possibility to try and have someone answer for the unfair actions they take because they don't agree with someone else's practices or principals.
I’m totally banned from Facebook, personal profile and 3 business pages. I too have no idea why. I have tried to make a new profile, but get shut down a few days later.
@@albertjans that's a shame. I understand that it is their platform, but to give a 2 minute explanation. Especially when they know you aren't a fake profile. Decentcy seems to elude them.
I feel for you. But also I can't believe how many people this happens to and they always seem shocked. You are doing business with them without a contract. Without any legal papers that say what you and them can and cannot do. There's even more paperwork just to buy a candy bar from a store. Don't make your lively hood depend on something you don't have any contract with. Hobby, sure.
Yes there are some good points here. I don't think anyone fully depends on their living off of Facebook marketplace. But this is the largest platform to reach local possible customers so definitely a huge help.
@Patriotsglow true. And I have heard it's better than Craigslist. I'm too concerned about scammers and bad checks to sell on either one. But you are not alone. I've also heard horror stories about TH-cam and it's ad revenue and locking out channels for stupid reasons. PS ya got another sub now. 😉

@Patriotsglow if a new account uses the same ip address, it will probably not work. Also if you do use a VPN, if it gets routed through a sketchy server, that could be a problem too.
