Salopek started one of the best adventure of the human history, hope that he arrived to complete it this year as he planned for this trip, and if he can prepare a book and share what he learnt from this journey.... before Salopek there was many explorers, who traveled the world as Zheng H ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zheng_He) 50,000 km and Marco Polo( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Polo) with 12,000 km, and Ibn Battuta (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_Battuta) with around 117,000 km, Ibn Battuta is Moroccan scholar, and explorer lived 1304 - 1368 who widely traveled the medieval world over the period of thirty years, he most visited north Africa and middle east countries, and also Central Asia, Southeast Asia, India and China. near the end of his life, he dictated an account of his journeys, titled A Gift to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Traveling. Hope that SopotlightEnglish team can prepare a dedicated program to share the resume of IBn Battuta adventure.
Actually there are. We have to be realist and accept the situation. There are idioam that say. If you want to change you have first to know where are you standing. ie to be aware first of your situation then you can figure out your direction, and start doing hour first steps
