Ah darn! I did a quick search and see that streamer bot does do timed actions: docs.streamer.bot/guide/settings/timed-actions If you play around with that, you may be able to achieve the same thing.
Hi I've just come across your video and its great! But I'm having issues with the obs Websocket Server bit, it just doesn't seem to work. i'm certain I've followed your steps but still nothing. please help.
Hi, I use the other streamlabs and I can do everything in your tutorial except linking firebot to streamlabs websockets, any idea on how i can do that?
@@NACAgent I'm not sure if this will work fully with Streamlabs OBS since it's different from OBS Studio. I'd recommend switching to OBS Studio as you'll have more flexibility with plugins.
Hi, I added a sound effect to the timer so under "Time-based" and when I set the timer to 4 seconds it just plays the sound every 4 seconds without waiting for the channel reward. It just loops all the time. Do you have any idea what this is?
Hey, at 7:22 I talk about creating the event which is the trigger for the channel points redemption. You need that portion set up as well for the timer to work properly, I hope this helps!
@@legendofzorlda Yes, but my problem is that the timer is not related to the event, is it? So the timer runs continuously in the background and then also ends the countdown too early, because it continued to run without channel reward. I hope my question is clear, sorry for my bad english, this is not my native language.
@@elchefe9411 It's ok, no need to apologize. I think I understand your question, but let me know if I missed something! You need to tie your timer together with the event, which is the channel points reward redemption. Once you do that, the timer will only run once the reward is redeemed.
dang it.. I need this but for streamer bot

Holy thanks! I am very happy for do this at last
I'm happy it helped 👍
Hii, I followed your tutorial exactly and the timer won't disappear. Also there's no channel point redeem on twitch for it for some reason too
@@TOFFEEAU I saw another comment helped you, are you still stuck on the other part?
@@legendofzorlda No, just the timer problem :(
Is your firebot overlay active? Check that bottom left of your Firebot app to make sure it's green
@@legendofzorlda Yes, it is green!

-UPDATE- I've fixed it, i had to go on "show Connect Info" on obs and copy the password from there.
@@mrlemursgamingSo sorry I missed your comment, but glad you got it sorted!
omg, thank you so much, was having the same issue but your comment helped me haha thanks man!

Finally I can have a cry timer!
LMAOOO happy to help
hey the only issue im currently having is that the timer wont disappear off of my obs. it stays active after the countdown is finished.
hey, make sure you have a timer set up to hide once the countdown ends. I show this at 7:08 in the video.
@@legendofzorlda I set up everything exactly how you did in the video but the timer never goes away for some reason
@@UrNextMistakeTTV how long is your timer for?
@@legendofzorlda 5 minutes, but I set it for 5 secs just to test it
@@UrNextMistakeTTV try 10 seconds for the test. I find that sometimes when the timer is too short, it'll act wonky.
