that is a must, u will hear roy khans voice in all his glory. it is a song about Elisabeth Bathory who is said to have bathed in her servents blood in an efford to stay forever young.
Hi Daniel, hope you and yours are well. I was one of those banging on about Kamelot - they really are underrated and super talented. Roy's voice (in this one is velvety smooth) but as you know, the live performances are the best. For the moment, I would just suggest definitely 'Sacrimony' live with Elize Ryd crom Amaranthe (who auditioned for Nightwish after Tarja) and Alyssa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. I would also love to see your reaction to a music video called 'Liar Liar' (also featuring Allyssa - now you know I don't give you any bad numbers Daniel, don't you!!! It'll blow your socks off - if it doesn't, I'll eat my hat!!😂🎉😊
I agree I followed Kamelot more closely when Roy was the frontman, but they are still a force. I’ll go see them anytime they come through. Thomas is an incredible songwriter, one of the best in the genre. My introduction to Kamelot was when Epica opened for them in a small club. Hardly anyone knew who Epica was at that point, the show started early so I missed all but the last two Epica songs and was quite upset until Kamelot came on a made me an instant fan.
The greatest vocal talent I've ever heard. Try listening to Poetry for the Poisoned 4 Parts. It's sub 10 mins but worth it. Roy Khan's swan song, and one of the best most emotional pieces he ever sang.
You should check the live version of that song in "One cold winter's night" show, available in 4k, check for it. Kamelot in that period, with Roy Kahn, the original singer, are much better live, than the studio albums version. You should react to the whole show. It's an unforgettable experience.
I forget which Kamelot you have done, but Liar Liar, Elizabeth, or The Haunting (with Simone) , Under grey skies (with Charlotte Wessels) are some favorites. Like Nightwish and Epica and Sabaton live versions are great too.
Oh please more oldies of this band! Elizabeth I,II, III live version is a great one with Roy as the frontman. Amazing song and incredible performance!

I love the Roy Kahn era of Kamelot 💞. Tony has an amazing voice as well, but there is something with Roy that touches my soul
There's a great live version of this. 🤘

Thanks for doing the original! Beautiful song but I had never heard of Kamelot prior to hearing Dan's cover a couple months ago.
So beautiful! Puts me into a peaceful trance. ❤

More KAMELOT c'mon and EPICA ofc. KAMELOT - Lair, Lair; Center of the Universe, Sacrimony, under Grey sky, Karma ... Metal greatings from Poland 🤘
Tarja Turunen New Album - Dark Christmas Out Now.
Brilliant idea should try and do more if possible
Hello Arias, take a look at "Sacrimony" live with Tommy Karevik as Kamelot's lead singer and featuring Elize Ryd and Alyssa White-Glutz ;-)

After you get through Kamelot The Black Halo you're gonna wanna go to Nevermore Dead Heart in a Dead World
Kamelot, the Roy Khan era, is what got me into metal. Kamelot as a whole is a great band, but Roy is just special.
Really nice but I prefer listening to Dan Vasc's version 🤘❤️
This is nice but I prefer Dan Vasc’s version over this. Dan has a richness in the tone of his voice that draws me in. Dan upgrades every song.
