    Worth noting to never forget:
    1. Duty and obligation that doesn't feed the soul.
    2. Hard work on things that don't yield heart returns.
    3. A sense of not being enough driving our actions and choices.
    4. Feeling responsible for our history/family.
    5. Overworking
Man, I have the south node in Capricorn. I pray to ALL higher realms to never fail into forgetfulness again of these lessons. 16 years of Pluto in Capricorn is plenty in a human lifetime.

Your comment about healing family trauma is so meaningful. I came to a point last year where I realized I needed to stop thinking about myself as a broken thing, and that I needed to stop focusing relentlessly on my own healing, which I had been doing for about five years straight.

My goodness! You know what came to mind in regards to healing family trauma? The risk of getting addicted to healing such that we unconsciously create chaos so that we have one more thing to heal and one more reason to be the hero. Damn!

#grabbed: Pluto story to share about transforming / letting go of addictions. My Saturn return happened several years ago during Plutos' long transit of Capricorn in my 8th house. During my Saturn return, I was struggling with alcohol and marijuana addiction. My roommate was a recovering heroin addict, who ended up dying of an overdose that year. I eventually sought my own treatment and recovery and have (through long, sustained effort) developed a healthier relationship with substances and healed a lot of wounds that I was covering up. Last week, shortly after Pluto re-entered Capricorn, I developed twin rashes on my inner arms -- right on top of the big veins that people often use to inject heroin. The rash spread to a few other spots on my body, but is thankfully under control now. I've never gotten a rash before. Ever. I've been puzzling over this all week, and am coming to understand it as Pluto's reminder that what I put into my body has major consequences for my overall wellbeing -- especially my healthy boundary with others (skin!). Pluto also happens to be trining my natal Venus in the 6th house.

I’m retiring in a few weeks. The last few years, my job in a history-related discipline was rewarding and heart-breaking and I worked so hard, and I learned and grew so, so much - but now I’m done - done, done. ♋️ rising. Also, I lost both of my parents this past year and now putting the final touches on closing their estate.

I love James Hillman's book, The Souls Code, that challenged the foundational weight of Western psychological paradigm of putting so much weight on parental influence on who we are (without suggesting there isn't some influence.) You spoke beautifully about this today. It was very liberating to me. Like you, It helped me integrate my yogic perspective with what did have value about early childhood influences. Richard Rose, the great West Virginian zen Master spoke about needing to let go of emphasizing too much self-improvement. It is a question of balanced emphasis, rather than a black or white situation. Love your work, Adam.

Absolutely. If you think about it, many cultures construct altars/totems/memorials to remember what they experienced for generations to come. To remember is (hopefully) to continue to embrace the lessons learned.
When we forget, albeit individually or collectively, we repeat those lessons. We fall and hurt ourselves and think, “I’ll never do that again.” But time slowly removes the memory of the pain and one day we find ourselves saying, “Well, maybe I’ll give it another try…”

Yes for overworking! This was a massive lesson for me especially as a caregiver in the medical field. If my clients or office needed me, I was there. Rain, snow, holiday, weekend. I was there. Especially with those receiving end of life care and during the pandemic. When I realized how overworked I was, how many times I refused to say no to extra shifts, I knew everything had to change. I had to leave it behind and become familiar with the word "no." This was also with relationships thanks to Pluto squaring my jam packed Libra 12th (Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Juno)

I love love love this synopsis...from a 28 degree mercury Cap 😂. It might be your best analysis ever. ❤. Your mentioning of the seriousness and overworking archetype, well, we're so done. What's the point of your strife if your heart isn't in it....sure we have responsibility but in whose name are we performing those.
Reminds me of a refrigerator metal I had once. A herd of steer running forward with a question of one, "Where are we going anyhow"😅
I'm 71 and been following astrology for 50+ years. Your words are refreshing and optimistic for the fearful and most dreaded Pluto😮😅 ....Minerva (our choice)I see pluto without fear now kind of like the wizard of Oz. The big boogie man behind the curtain. Fear not fellow humans we've got this.😅 Thanks tons ❤. So happy to know your generation is seeing life through a new and regenerated light hearted perspective. Bye bye old structure much respect for getting us here and nice we got to visit for a last time now time to live more wholly, holy united ❤. It’s been hard :’) I’ve learned so much, I can hardly believe how strong I am sometimes. It’s been of such immense value. But I’m so ready to enjoy life more, and to take some of the focus back from bettering. And going into my 30’s soon, my Saturn return happening, it feels like I’m retreating to the rooftop of my house and taking a deep sigh. Taking it all in. Thank you for what you said about the work we do on our trauma and childhood experiences. We can’t undo our pasts. We can work on things that have happened to us and habits we create along the way to the present - but we can’t endlessly look behind us if we want to walk forward to a different horizon. At some point, we have to learn from the paths we’ve walked up to now and what we’ve learned from it AND then use that experience to push onward to the next destinations we have ahead of us.
I’m looking forward to leaving some of these things behind now that Pluto has moved on from Capricorn. The years since 2007-2008 have been the darkest times of my life. I’ll still get plenty of curveballs thrown by life I’m sure, but I’m not sad to hopefully see a few less of the ones you described here showing up at my door. 😊 Onward!

This video was so helpful! It made me feel really good about the progress I've made while Pluto was in Capricorn. Some of it (like the releasing of duty and obligation that doesn't feed the soul) had been a lifelong challenge which came to a pinnacle with the transits of the past few years. Now it feels like I have a lot of internal space from the old patterns... but for whatever reason I wasn't mentally linking it to Pluto in Capricorn in my 7th until today. This final retrograde dip + related content is really helping me to solidify that understanding. Thank you!! ❤

Love this! Its like playing super Mario brothers and becoming identified with the struggles the character is going through to beat the bosses or rescue the princess or losing your fire power or feeling responsible for all the other versions of Mario that failed at recusing the princess. Its not real, its an illusion, I am not that character called Mario I AM the player playing the game Super Mario Brothers. For me, it means, " be in the present and lighten up," of course that can be grueling! Just kidding. I need to think of forward progression when working on self. Not fear falling back, it'd just mean more clearing. I've enjoyed Cindi Dale's little books on chakras. They were very eye opening, to say the least. Can't wait for her heart chakra book to come out in Oct. The lower charas are hardest to clear but free the upper chakras more when get there.😊 I had alot of # 3 from being picked on by siblings, etc , but also anxiety and fear of standing out with too unusual ability or something. I just try to follow inner guidance, to develop self and make most of it. I do feel like earth is school and we're lucky if we have a chance to develop ourselves. Thanks for the updates on Pluto. It helps us dive deep into what we need to. 🙏🌹💕✌️🎈💚👽😊

I am looking forward to pluto in aquarius. (Especially the three times that it will be conjuncting my part of fortune 🍀).
To finish a Pluto cycle in a more conscious way is also meaningful as I get to experience a full cycle of deep transformation. By itself this almost sounds threatening 😄 but you do get almost twenty years for a full cycle.

This explains a lot. Unfortunately I resonate a little too much with all of those lessons. Guess I had to learn some stuff the hard way. Thanks for the enlightenment.

In India there is a ritual people perform during Shardha - Pitru Paksha This period is dedicated to honoring ancestors and forefathers, offering prayers, food, and clothes to Brahmins.

    "Poppycock," my dude.
Which strikes me as just a flowery way of saying 'F*** it' and there is no other way to read that than through the absence of a sense of humor we are aware of.

I also licked my lips a lot as a kid but now looking back on it i can see how it was because i was anxious about going back to school and also the shorter days brought up fear around the darkness and such. I am still a chapstick addict to this day and if I start to lick them more I know there is something deeper going on that wants to be looked at and held.

I had to “threepeat” this one, Adam, as I am packing up the home I bought to care for my mom in 2019. Now it will help pay for her memory care. This speaks to so many aspects of my natal astrology and the current energies.

What about if the way you found out about your families karma is the realization of their ghosts. And the ghosts want out of the cycles or they wouldn't have made you aware of the problems. And you personally break the cycles. For instance reconciliation of sibling rivalry, zero envy or jealousy or competition or greed, if we start arguing about who gets something it ends with no you take it, no you take it. Build a bridge spiritually to meet the physical. Use that to bring conscious awareness to the stepparent dynamic, flip the crabs in the bucket dynamic and bring awareness that outside the bucket might be a Chinatown wet market, but self aware crabs lift each other up and make sure it's safe before reaching back down. Instead of drowning anyone within reach. And then you realize that anything you say to the people in your family is knocked down off the edge of the cliff and buried and renarrated. Buried Truth alive, fire dimming campaign. Remnants made small and uniform and cubed, as if to be boiled and consumed. The living members of the family consciously insist on perpetuating the cycles. Seeding insecurity and envy, and perpetuating the dynamic with the way they feed the dogs. I've decided that im prepared to leave them all behind, as this conscious malignancy would be a disservice for anything vulnerable or healthy or healed but seasoned. It'll be dangerous to forget if it reemerges it sneaks subverted with an agenda, indignant when confronted. How do I take my ghosts and leave without being made into dog food and buried and distilled? It's organized and strategic and backed, and dangerous, and appears benign.
