Wonder how much longer those coaches and locos can last? Wonder if MTA has a replacement program somewhere in it's pockets? Don't know now much longer duck tape and baling wire can hold these things together.

Good question. As far as the coaches go, they look pretty sad on the outside, most of the blue paint and LIRR logos are worn out. I'm pretty sure they have re-painted the nose of some of the locos. In general they are just about 25 years old (1997/98).
