That doesn't surprise me at all. I didn't connect the dots until you just said something here. I remember doing a training ride a year ago and I saw a couple guys with that kit. It struck me that between the name Monster and the green accents on black for their kits, I said to myself... it's just a matter of time until Monster Energy Corp comes after them. Monster is notorious about fiercely protecting their brand image and anything that resembles it. Sometimes it is quite justified, other times it's a stretch. What most people don't realize is that Monster has an unusually muscular legal team, perhaps related to the fact that the 2 cofounders are... LAWYERS! Honest Injun!
