With the last two years and the way they pushed those condensed those two seasons, then the Olympics, for him to win DPOY, he'd have to play with that same level of intensity for all 82 next year(or close enough) to pass up the big men who always get the nod.
Honestly, with DiVincenzo coming back, he can share the defensive load.
Bam, Giannis, Ayton, Embiid, DPOY will be a mobile big. Maybe Siakam...who knows, but unlikely a guard.

You can tell Jrue is a man of integrity and such a solid individual. There's not even a sniff of phoniness when he speaks which is very refreshing. Hard not to be happy for him and the entire Bucks organization. Especially because they were constantly disrespected by the media.

That was such an awesome interview. I always looked for Drew’s public interviews and couldn’t find much, I know why now! Such an underrated human being … great pod!

Jrue is so obviously such a good man. He’s not obnoxiously in denial of how good he is but he is still so incredibly humble.

Always loved that he was and is that dude in basketball that thrived at the defensive end (that's why I love MJ, PIPPEN, KOBE) but now even more so after their championship run and his output on defense against France... WOW! MUCH RESPECT BROTHA 🙏🏾 Best defender in the NBA, no doubts about it!

I wasn't even rooting for Milwaukee when the playoffs started, but once they got past Brooklyn I was all in only because I wanted Jrue to get a chip. I've been a fan of his since his early years with the Sixers and had always liked his game and especially his defense. He's a solid dude as well, so anything positive that may come his way is well earned and deserved.

As a basketball nerd, i love the talk of game differences between Olympic/international and NBA. But can Jrue STILL be underrated after this season? I'd say yes....particularly after watching this as he sits in an outlet parking lot.

I love Luka, but I don't know why we mention him in the best player in the world argument yet we don't even mention Nikola Jokic. The man is so underrated that even with a league MVP on his belt, he still doesn't get enough respect.

8:55 he summed up perfectly what exactly American sports are. They’re big TV-shows and the players are the actors, the commissioner is the show runner and the league is the producer. This season is the season finale of LeBron’s story.
