Just bought this same exact bike yesterday 🙏 It's missing tires and has a ghetto 1x8 conversion (front derailleur and shifter taken out 😅) but other than that it's all there. Same rims, same seat etc. Mines size L and just looked so good in that one crappy picture online that I had to have it. It was just 10min drive from my work and cost me all of 40€ 😂🥳 Gonna service it quickly over the weekend and make it into a commuter. Have a pair of 1.75" Schwalbe City Jet tires to put on for smooth rolling, it'll be a blast to chuck down the road to work. Not sure if I'll give trials a go as I'm 40 years old and getting a bit of a gut 😅, but never since I was a kid have I rode a bike just by pedaling from point A to point B. There's always some jumps and hops, stairs, manuals and whatnot... Gonna go check the next video now, thanks for the nice content. Subscribed 🤝
I don’t think I’d be able to say accurately, because there’s so many other variables like chain slack and lack of engagement points in the hub. But I am going to experiment with different sized ratios at some point in the near future!
TREK, you are the first trials rider to use an old Trek as trials content. 👍
Haha, thank you!
I’ve Just subscribed mate and I love what you are doing ✌️👊👍🔥
Awesome, thank you!

Awesome! Hope you have fun with it 🙂
That is a true do everything bike frame. Sadly, every alloy frame will snap eventually, just a question of when.
Yeah my old one snapped in about a year when I was 12, so I’m not sure how long this one will last!
what is the difference with a small chainring like 22t and 18t sprocket, compare to a 32 chain ring 30t sprocket? or any combo mtb gearing
