Oh my, this starting screen is GORGEOUS, i personally prefer more dark, gritty images in HOI4 considering the fact that WW2 was awful thing and this one is just perfect.

I think the best starting screen was NSB's. Perfectly captured everything the DLC was about.

La Resistance is also quite good.
Battle of Bosporus is definitely the most disappointing. Main focus is some dude having a dinner while Konstantinopole is just the backdrop? Sad.

That's not saying much considering the only HoI4 expansions that have at _least_ a mostly positive rating on Steam is No Step Back and Waking the Tiger.
I still think its a straight up shitty cashgrab to not have finland in the soviet DLC. Because of the winter war both should definitiv be in the same DLC, especially when you lock mechanics behind a paywall..

It was funny to hear you explain your plans against the Soviets, it was essentially a reversal of their actual plans against Finland in the actual war. I can't wait for the dlc, it's gonna be great.
Recon giving a bonus to artillery damage makes so much sense, the recon troops can spot the enemy and then radio in their location to the artillery forces.
The DLC is cool and all, but the fact that they made the game run smoother is what i'm truly hyped for

I hope this will also fix the desyncing issues in multiplayer. After 1942, with war in low supply areas going on, the game becomes pretty much unplayable.

I'm much more excited for the designer changes as it allows for different plays and gives them a bigger feel than select and forgetting or just forgetting them like I always do lol.
I love that they added new rank of cities which will tell you which cities are somewhat significant. The small ones are gonna be like just random towns.

Petrovski Jam's supply hub was actually destroyed by finnish special long range patrols. 80 people blew up the whole village and supply hub and made it out back to Finland. Crazy

Since 2016 I've been wanting a standalone focus tree for Finland, now I've finally got it!
You can queue up a cav div before the civil war starts as you will always get to keep it. Works with every country.
You can also start a justification and then join the allies and declare war without the risk of them calling in the uk
You can encircle the capital city of any country and just hold it without capturing it which would cause the entire country to have zero supply because they can't connect it to the capital.
Yeah! And that is really stupid game mechanics! In reality they would move the capital immediatelly!
Doesn't work. The AI will move its supply capital. But it does prevent resupply with new guns and manpower

That arms market seems like a godsend for smaller nations who can turn endless crappy guns into Civs. I’m thinking Mozambique with their Ak-47 on their flag.

unfortunately that market thing doesnt work anymore. If you go into civil war, it just removes all the guns from the market and adds them back to your stockpile

good video, you probably could have requested license from your former soviet puppets if you wanted an airforce. With all the buffs to production you have already, the penalty is pretty minor.

we (finland) had a little bit of tanks, to be exact 32 tanks and only 10-13 suitable for combat, they all where Fin made Vickers-Armstrong tanks that where similar to Soviet T-26 :3

no, im pretty sure you cant leave a faction if youre in war with your faction against somebody else
yeah but if they also war with ussr and even it is a different war you can not leave the faction

If you want to build short-ish railways really-really quickly, then i've started constructing railways 1 tile at a time. this builds railways super quick but it does require you to have some sort of industry!

As a Finn I like watching this and listening the funny ways youre pronouncing finnish words (you pronounced them very well but still the way you do is very funny)

Wow. I really like this DLC. The international market is really cool. I always love when they add new states. The focus trees have good content but not overly drawn out. Only thing i dont care much for is having to assign a company to build your shit but it is realistic. Solid DLC.

Sorry I don't understand, I thought guarantees work by allowing Allies to start guaranteeing at 25% WT? Why does bittersteel feel comfortable at justifying at 33% WT saying that he has generated 8% and then the Allies did not guarantee Lithuania???
The AI will only guarantee a nation, if the person justifying has generated 10% WT or more

To fix the exploit with the international market, maybe they could just have equipment “marked as sellable” which is in your stockpile until sold. If a civil war begins, half of the stockpile, including sellable equipment, is given to each side.
