On wallsplat don't go for a top heavy you don't gain anything off it you still deal 24 damage. They need to fix it but on wallsplat go for a side heavy with the free light (reason I say that is bc on top heavy with the free light on wallsplat they're no longer in hitstun)
TF are y'all getting these numbers? The average heavy is 27 with the highest being Kensei finisher top heavy at 34. The weakest *light is 9 damage with Sohei being the only one with that damage because of his 95 damage ability. Every other character opened lights are 16 damage on average. The CCU or core combat update was made to purposely prolong duels because the pre CCU damage was far too high to learn your opponents patterns. Additionally, all forms of attack were react able with things like option selects still existing. The CCU update removed most of these as well as the zone option select a little while after. This was done so you're forced to learn your opponents and can't just press but to cover all but 1 possibility. This helped achieve the CCU main goal and although controversial at first, the community agrees it was a huge step forward from the no blinking competitions prior.
