They should have an alt universe Borg who are turned corporate by a Ferengi hacker. "There is no profit in resistance. You will be acquired! Surrender to the Borg corporation!"
I understand why they do it the way they do that. They used to keep upcoming Trek-alumni a secret until the episode was live, but they eventually realized the more players would join/return when it was leak because of the hype of seeing whoever it was being added to the game, so they just started advertising it themselves. But yeah, wish they'd go to just a little effort to keep not spoil it for those who doesn't want spoilers. Like, do a "click here to find out who's going to be in the next update" rather than just plastering their face on the banner where you can't avoid it. But I know there are some who go the extra mile to avoid spoilers, so I try to give people an out... Usually. Sometimes I forget, but I do my best.
With that spelling of Garret, I expect a modernized mix of the 23rd century Fed and Kdf dreadnought. It is the wrong spelling for Captain Rachel Garrett, but it matches the spelling from the captain/admiral from the STO TOS arc.
Re Thomas' 4 Nacelle tease, I'd like to make the argument that at least I, if not others, are waiting for a legendary Prometheus, so I'd like to put that into the ether
I am looking forward to the episode with Hugh and the Garrett ship. However I have a difficult time caring about anything that comes out of a lockbox any more.
I am curious if the Garret will be an Ambassador class or a Georgiou-class. Apparently there was a U.S.S. Garret (Georgiu-class battlecruiser) at the Battle of Wolf 359. Either way, can't wait to see the stats!
@andrewtaylor940 I get that, but I imagine it will be a Fed base design with KDF modifications, and I wonder which ship class will be the Fed base. I saw a teaser image floating around elsewhere, but the class is hard to tell (though I would say it is more Ambassador class than Georgiu class)

you know, speaking on bugs, there's one that has been annoying the fool out of me for years, even tried a bug report to no avail. subspace vortex (specifically subspace vortex 2 as that is what i have access to on my boff builds) works for the first half, spawning the vortex. however the second half of it, where you can activate again and blink to the vortex (a helpful movement tech in large battle space or when fired upon by many torpedoes) does not work and you only momentarily blink out and in of existence, no movement. wondering if anyone else has come across this

Given the fact that all 3 major factions were present at the 1701-C last battle we might see a triple hybrid with the anniversary ship
