- This is a video about an idiot who was in too much of a hurry to get to the Evergreen takeaway on a sunday lunchtime. Obviously he must have been starving and doesn't appreciate other drivers getting in his way. He need's to learn to chill out....

How often do you hear on a morning or evening that such and such road is closed because of an accident. 90% of the time it’s due to someone running into the back of another vehicle.
I’m a retired instructor and driving examiner and the amount of times I had a driver tailgate me whilst out on lessons was unreal. And that’s on a motorcycle!!!!!

I've found now if someone tailgates me, it doesn't matter what speed I do, they remain the same distance behind me.. so I just slow down. If they're going to rear end me, better to be at a slower speed. Just ignore them, bunch of wet wipes.

@Ed Straker had it many times . I'm in a god awful town, pot holes, you name it. The footage on here is nothing compared to my experience. Got to say, people refusing to indicate at roundabouts infuriates me.

The takeaway from this video is how much the roads have deteriorated in the last 8 years! Nice, smooth and clearly marked. Compared to the pothole infested cart tracks we have now.
To be honest, you'd have been a lot better going Bawdlands way, past the market and round by the bus station. Miles quicker route, and a lot less maniacs along that way :)

Could be that a child has had an accident, there's an emergency at home, a parent has taken ill? You don't know why he is so desperate to make progress but one thing is certain, passive aggressive slow driving, lane blocking and then weaponizing camera footage and uploading to You Tube does make you look like you had a slow version of road rage. Yes, he may be an idiot who regularly drives stupidly but he may also be a law abiding man who had some very urgent business. When someone drives like that I tend to try to find an opportunity to yield the road to them.

Minding your own business on the road = less road rage
Couldn't have put it better than that (besides assuming it's a he, although it probably is). Exactly, people are generally so narrow minded and can't see past their own little bubbles, assume everyone else lives in the same idyllic world that they do. I'm not condoning this type of driving, but was it dangerous at those speeds? I'd find it hard to agree it was dangerous. Although yes, there could be children, elderly, or anyone else crossing, but assuming the observations and hazard awareness are good he could easily stop. To be honest, there were several opportunities the 'idiot' could have made a 'dangerous' (or more like inconsiderate) overtake but they didn't. Deliberately driving slowly to get TH-cam footage is dangerous in itself

These are small town streets, with pedestrians and parked vehicles - scant opportunity to get past, and yet in 100% of the video, he is risking the health/life/property of others. No place on the road for dross like this, or those who would defend his behaviour - i.e. you. Too often in society, people are excusing the appalling behaviour of others. Don't know what the fuss was all about. Yes that astra driver sorry steerer was acting in an intimidating way. Yes he sped off to the mini roundabout to get in front of you and then got caught behind another car. That astra steerer actually had a good couple of chances to overtake that car but he didn't. Yes he stuck his nose out but made no moves to overtake. However what you did in publishing his cars number plate is Bang Out Of Order. What you should have done is send that footage to the police. Shame on you.

Awful driving. Just a matter of time before he as an accident. Insurance will go up, no claims lost. Hospitals, police. Court. Punishment. Some people have just got to learn the hard way. Probably a young male height on testosterone. Lots of them driving about. See them every day. Life will catch them up.
"Probably a young male..." Common preconception. I was driving in a 40mph area last week, with an Audi right on my tail. There were double white lines, so no chance to overtake. Finally got near the roundabout where the road splits into two lanes. I signalled right, indicating I was going right at the roundabout. Audi tore past me on the inside... only to end up behind a queue. As I passed, I saw the driver - a young blonde bird, who was on the phone and laughing.
