Man one of the best moments in My Hero was when Deku was eating around the table with his classmate mentioning how blessed he was, teared run in my eyes cause he was truly blessed and he saw that.
I am not sure if this is a plot armor moment, but due to health issues I had to drop out of school. Never graduated high school. Because of that I have had the time to explore my interests and develop hobbies. I have been learning jewelry making, edible (legal) mushroom growing, and 3d modeling/animation. I am still at the stage where I don’t know whether I could turn one of these of another skill into a freelancing job/small business, or if I am going to live with my parents forever. But I am trying for the former. I still struggle with health issues and that has made my progress slow, and I need to get to a place where I can be awake and work on a consistent schedule before I market myself, but I think it is possible for me to someday become self sufficient doing something I enjoy with no student loans! Edit: Now that I really think about it, my biggest plot armor moment was probably having a family capable of handling my medical bills. I live in America so … yeah. I don’t actually know how much it is every month but I am pretty sure it is thousands.
Slow progress is still progress! Thank you so much for sharing. First of all I think it’s awesome that you have so many hobbies! Jewelry making can easily become a good small business with the correct marketing. And if you’re good at 3D modeling and animation there are tons of freelancing websites to offer your skillset! Animators make good money! Also that’s so cool you know how to grow mushrooms (edible or the fun kind 😂) Think of your life like growing your plants. You don’t plant a seed or plant a clipping and expect it to grow overnight. Since you are in a position to have parents who can provide for you, take your time, figure out who you are and what you really want, develop a good strategy, and go for it!!! I don’t think you’re here commenting by random. I know God has an interesting and unique plan for your life. Can’t wait to hear updates of what you do!
