- Our sister-in-law cooked 5 traditional Middle Eastern dishes from scratch and we sat down to try them all!

I am from the united states. My mom is American and my Dad is an Arab from Libya. All of his college friends were Palestinians from the West Bank so I grew up with this food. Msakhan is my favorite because anytime I needed a pick me up as a teenager it was that. I love Manaeesh as well. Try Maklooba if you get a chance. My parents make excellent ones .
Ur dad isn’t Arab he’s North African Arab means from the continent of Middle East North Africa isn’t meant to have Arabic but the only reason it does is because of Arab invaders
I’m Jordanian and Maftool (name of the wheat pearls itself but the dish is called Moghrabiya) is my absolute favorite dish. So yummy
