Disco 11 and the Origin series. Must haves!
Disco 11 is God Tier! Those who know, know!
I have 16 Bardstown bottles and like them all. Discovery 8 and 11 are some of my favorites. The Goose Island Collaborative Series is a chocolate cherry bomb. With your love a scotch, you need to try the AMRUT Collaborative Series. 🥃
Disco 8 and 11 are the only 2 apart from Origins I own, but still haven't opened the 8. Good to know I didn't choose poorly! Need a few more for a good 4-way blind.
Yep, Bardstown 11 is excellent.
Disco 11 is fantastic.
You had me at roasted goose- I mean, you had me at stout barr- no, it was chocolate. Maybe it was $25 stout. Ace Ventura? Whatever. I was entertained.
It's been nice to watch you both get more comfortable doing this as you've gone along. I can't honestly think of a video of yours that hasn't made me genuinely laugh out loud at some point. Keep doing what you're doing so well already.
"73 grams, give or take" Bahaha. Spoken like the nicest Minnesota drug dealer. Also, great video guys.
I agree with the other commenters, Disco #11 is super tasty!
Kalyn's sly smile at "You can never get tired of banana." LOL
As others have said, disco 11 is incredible. Casanova liquors in Hudson had 3-4 bottles when I stopped there in late April. I have a sample of the Amrut finish coming from a fellow stuff and whiskey patron.
Was there yesterday and picked up the Disco 10. First taste was solid.
Love this Bourbon!
"Is Costco still open?" -- "No, they closed like 5 years ago!" Whoever comes up with those dialogues isn't being paid enough 😂
He’s not wrong though. They just open up again every day 8am.
Never had a Bardstown product, don't like finished bourbon but might try something else that they have 👍🥃😉 Cheers
Their Origin Series is fantastic and a decent price point too, compared to their Colabs and Discovery series. I think their BIB is my current favorite for an Old Fashioned and their White label is a great flask filler 😉
Great review as always !
Their BIB is very good.
i was eating some of the brookside acai chocolates in bed one time and fell asleep and then woke up in a chocolatey mess. lol
Found this channel looking for reviews of this specific bourbon. Staying to learn more about pairing tubular meat and cheese whiskeys... 🌭🧀💪
Well you've come to the right place! Welcome 🥃
I saw it, I saw it 😂
“The lovely people…” I sensed some sarcasm. lol! Any favorite stores around MN that you’d recommend? I’m in southern MN but get up to the cities every so often. LOVE the videos!! Cheers!
Ok, I'll go old school (or as old school as you can get with BBC) Disco 1,2,3 & 4 is what you need to try and find, or the Collaboration with Château de Laubade (lovingly know as Château de la Scooby Doo)! And nice catch Kalyn! 😂
This bottle sounds amazing. I wont pass it up next time I see it.
Btw, next time you have an anniversary or Valentine’s Day, order LA Burdick chocolate online. Game changer.
Saw it
Ayyyy here’s that review I asked about back in your last stout finish vid :) Like others said, the Disco series: 8, 9, and 11 are amazing (10 wasn’t my fave profile, but still a really nice pour). The Origin series is affordable and phenomenal, people don’t talk about the Origin series rye (ages in oak and cherry wood zebra barrels) enough.
I do like their Origins Rye, but can't help but prefer Pikesville Rye slightly more still... and it's cheaper here. But definitely both can beat out Michter's SB Rye... at least the barrels I've had.
@@SvenDryden I’ve actually never tried the Pikesville rye, but I’ll add it to my list to check out!
So bourbon aged in barrels used to age stout that were previously used to age bourbon?
For the record, the biscotti stout was amazing.
Bardstown Discovery 11 was overhyped for the price in my opinion, others are solid that I've had.
i bet she drinks 5 bottles of wine a day
Haven’t had a bad Bardstown yet. I can highly suggest their origins series all of them. The Amrut finished bottle is very good and you both like scotch but a tad spendy like their other collaborations but if you see it get it! Why don’t you introduce your wife at the intro I believe she’s your wife? I may be wrong. Maybe I’m just old fashioned. I am old. Enjoy!!
I have access to Disco 8, 10, and 11. Just not sure about that buck-fitty price tag
Personally I think the Discovery Series is the type of special pour that’s worth that price tag. Get Disco 8 or 11, I can’t imagine you’d be disappointed. (10 is very nice just not my jam flavor profile-wise)
I saw it. 🙃
poop and pee. take that!
