If sports leagues made it as easy to watch sports as they do for gambling on them they wouldn't have this problem. Take down the paywalls and make it easy and cheap. The audience is there
More viewership will not cause subscription prices to go down. These US sports leagues are all monopolies of their associated sport and have complete centralized control. For example, despite record breaking revenues each year for the NFL, it has never been more expensive to watch or attend an NFL game. Easier said than done, but piracy will not go away until sports leagues find a way to package value at an affordable rate. Especially with everyday working class fans struggling with inflation.
I can't watch my local baseball and basketball teams anymore because they're behind a paywall. I can't afford to go to any of their games, either. So I guess I'm not a sports fan anymore, I can find cheaper entertainment.
I’m all about the leagues making money but I object to having to have Prime, Peacock, ESPN+ and an antenna just to follow my NFL team, over the course of a season. The NFL did this to itself.
Maybe they should just make it affordable and easy to watch? Just an idea. These leagues already have billions or trillions of dollars, and are making it harder and harder to watch over time meanwhile many of us are struggling.
The market always speaks in the end. As long as salaries for athletes keep going up, the prices will go up. The question becomes: what are the masses willing to pay to be entertained?
even if you buy the nfl package you STILL DONT get ALL the games. ILLEGAL STREAMING for life. poor ole rich millionaire athletes n billionaire owners. suck it
The NFL is available on local airwaves via a $20 antenna so I use that plus my Prime subscription I already pay for and I get a majority of the NFL free since I'm in my local teams market and I get all of the big games. I live outside of my NBA team's region so I have NBA league pass. I'm a huge Orioles fan though and I can't get MASN outside of paying a fuck ton of money in cable, so I illegally stream that all the time. I'd pay like $15-20 a month for MASN it has not just baseball, but some other stuff I like for instance University of Richmond basketball and football games broadcast on it. RSNs need to evolve or they'll die
These leagues should be grateful more people can watch their product, root for a team and maybe buy merch or even just engaging on their social media accounts and seeing the ads during games all increases their bottom line.
$500 to watch NFL or pay IPTV $20/month for everything? $100-150, or $20 for a specific game and I would have no problem. At the height of my TV subscriptions for Sunday Ticket and DirecTV with other streaming services was well over $300/month, it just wasn't worth the overall cost.
Playing the world's smallest violin, for the NBA,NFL and MLB
Boxing is 100% only one negatively benefitting from this

make it cheaper to watch, grow audience numbers to increase sponsor rights values...and in turn increase revenue...

oh no those poor billionaires!!
If they stop blackouts on their official services, then I won't have to pirate the games I watch. It's that simple for me.
As long as my local teams are blacked out I’m gonna do as I damn well please and sleep even better at night.

Illegal sites>>>>>
Ain’t nobody trynna pay $1000 a month 😂
@@mattsullivan2176 🤣
no one pays such
Considering what came out during the Sunday ticket lawsuit I don't feel the least bit bad for the NFL losing money to this kind of streaming.
I’m all about the leagues making money but I object to having to have Prime, Peacock, ESPN+ and an antenna just to follow my NFL team, over the course of a season. The NFL did this to itself.
I use illegal streams all the time. Not bothered one bit.....
wrong logic, if less viewers then prices will go down (less profit for owners and smaller salaries for players)
The fact that you need Peacock, Amazon Prime video etc just to watch all the matches/games. MJ said it best, "Fuck dem...subscriptions😂"
Here's a remedy to stop it. Put all events back on broadcast television...
Problem solved... 🤯

Players make over 10mil per year let alone 60mil is pure greed

Not surprised about LeBron, there’s a famous story he wouldn’t pay for international roaming when in Canada playing the Raptors.
the most difficult challenge of this problem is finding a violin small enough to offer sympathy to lebron and dana white
They don’t give a shit, except for Dana but they can’t do anything about it and count the viewers when selling ads…

Never watched a single cricket match in legal site 😭😭i ain't paying you guys $200 per year just to watch cricket match
Hd streamz>>>>

nba salaries gone mad
Make streaming sports free and sell ads. Then there would be no reason at all to pirate.
Can any one tell me how can see F1 for free
Streameast does nothing vs. actual broadcast TV
NBA gon use this excuse forever
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
