What talent are you talking about? The DBs were missing Will Johnson and Hill. The LBs are still in the first season as starters. And it was Oregon and a heisman caliber QB. And the offesne kept going 3 and out. If I'm gonna be critical I'm gonna be critical of Kirk Campbell.
Moore can easily get himself 1 more year by replacing the right coaches. He has a good class coming in, and if he can land Bryce he'll have a make or break year next year. Gets OSU at home, and MSU still rebuilding. He wouldn't need to win the title, but would need to win against rivals and be in (or on bubble) for CFP.
I think Moore needs to be confident enough to stand by his decisions. He shouldn't care what 75% of the fan base thinks. He's in practice everyday with these guys. He knows what these qb's look like. He's the coach. He needs to be the coach.
I wondered about Wink early on. He probably has 30 more years coaching experience than Sherone. I also wonder why he took the job to begin with. Does he really plan on staying through a rebuilding and recruiting process that could take 5 years? You guys talk about coaches like their isolated from the recruiting and transfer process. Like Harbough was finally able to do, you have to be able to build your program around what you want to This takes time. The frustrating thing about this year is they already had many of the pieces in place and didn't use them. Coaches, the A.D. recruiters all have to be on the same page. It seems pointless to bring in new coaches if you don't have the players and system in place for them to work with. Otherwise you just end up in another long rebuilding process like Harbough and Rich Rodriguez went through. Campbell's play calling and use of talent is often pretty questionable. Especially when they have 2 of the best running backs and tight end in the country. Did this team get the most out of the talent it has this year? I don't think so and that falls on the coaching and play calling. The buck should stop at the head coach though... They were not going to win every game this year but they certainly were not ready for the season either. On the bright side at least the days of teams playing no one all year and then having one or two meaningful games at the end are over. Perhaps Brian Griese would be an interesting choice as head coach but you have to still be able to get the most out of the talent you have no matter what kind of team you have..
I think OC Campbell needs to be demoted back to just being a QB Coach. Moore should look hard at hiring Nick Sheridan from Bama as the sole play caller. Martingale should be let go because he doesn't recruit, and there's a reason why nobody in the NFL wanted him. The replacement for Wink is a tough one, but I think I'd try to poach either D'Anton Lynn at USC, or if you really want to change the scheme, poach Phil Parker from Iowa who by and large has been the best DC in the Big10 over the past decade.
I think offensive play calling is the larger problem. Curious to know is Moore the only person who can do any firing of assistant coaches or could Ward step in and say so and so has to go?
It's funny you chose jabrill peppers out of all kinds you could have chosen because he actually did always want to go to Michigan. Lewan would have been a good choice. He has no pre love for any school growing up. He just trusted the Dline coach
Michigan should replace D-C M.W. with ex-All-American U.M., two-time S.B. champion with the PittSteelers, and now Tampa Bay Buccaneers L-C Larry Foote. Harbaugh wanted to hire him a couple of years ago. Brian Giese would be a fantastic choice to replace Kirk Campbell. Finally, Michigan is getting into NIL. Always, gentleman, GOBLUE-NATTYUP🏆!
This claim that the coordinators need to go is idiotic. The coordinators have the same players as Moore. You can't logically say "Moore deserves time but the coordinators need to go". They all need to go. Why drag out the inevitable. Michigan and money will always recruit well. Moore will never coach well.
it’s interesting that they think the new standard is the 3 year run, instead of seeing it for what it was, a blip. The last what, 20? 30 years show what they have been and will be.

The game has left Wink Martindale behind.
Wink has to go. With the talent on the defense giving up that may points is un-acceptable.

OC and DC just don’t have what is needed
Moore can easily get himself 1 more year by replacing the right coaches. He has a good class coming in, and if he can land Bryce he'll have a make or break year next year. Now were transformational and transactional.
We need to compete

With NIL, college ball is a slot machine now...hire CPA's instead.

Just remember everyone has a price.
Correction: The era of kids wanting to play for their dream school isn't over yet but NIL will likely end it.
Totally agree, bye-bye Wink and Kirk.

Huh? The QB room is in shambles.
All of em can go, but I'd keep Moore and TE coach
OC and DC.
I think offensive play calling is the larger problem. Curious to know is Moore the only person who can do any firing of assistant coaches or could Ward step in and say so and so has to go?
I think both of things are possible. But we have to put our faith in Moore to do what's best.
@@anthonyarmstrong9400 I’m there with you on that. I still believe Moore can bring it back in time. Hopefully as soon as next year.
@@stevepearson4522 I'm hoping and praying my friend.😂
The OC n DC have to go.
Remember guys, coaches like to hire people they know or have worked with. Just to be dropping names of people is not always a working match.
It's funny you chose jabrill peppers out of all kinds you could have chosen because he actually did always want to go to Michigan. Lewan would have been a good choice. He has no pre love for any school growing up. He just trusted the Dline coach
Wink was handed an amazing defense and they just look lost. You did not see that drop off between McDonald and Minter. Wink needs to be replaced
Vandy DC runs a familiar system as Michigan, Their DC learned under Jessie Minter.
Wink an Campbell needs to go an give Moore one more year an if can't turn it around then he needs to go
Michigan should replace D-C M.W. with ex-All-American U.M., two-time S.B. champion with the PittSteelers, and now Tampa Bay Buccaneers L-C Larry Foote. ALL of them!!!
The million dollars was just a bonus.
He can win a Heisman at LSU. That means a lifetime of earnings.
Much more valuable than money he collects today.
That's simple....all of them
Should fire the coach that lost Connor's phone number. I mean come on!!!
If anyone needs to go it’s Kirk! He didn’t do shit with any of the QB’s. No! Do not let Kirk work with the QB’s
Kirk Campbell has to go ! Wink is not far behind.
Bring Stalions back.
Give them another year! Let another team win the Natty! U of M will be back next year!
Michigan fans talk as much shit as OSU fans. Thats just how most fans are.
Wink and Campbell both have to go.
This claim that the coordinators need to go is idiotic. The coordinators have the same players as Moore. You can't logically say "Moore deserves time but the coordinators need to go". They all need to go. Why drag out the inevitable. Michigan and money will always recruit well. Moore will never coach well.
Terrible coaching
Non of them should be fired. They're great!
I
TOM ALLEN IS A ABSOLUTE NO.
Not for DC. Hes a really good DC.
@ no he’s not
@ the guy got mauled at Indiana and got mauled by Ohio at psu I’ll pass he’s a bum
Warde Manuel is another absolute no.
Make Stalions HC. His manifesto is the blueprint for success.😅
it’s interesting that they think the new standard is the 3 year run, instead of seeing it for what it was, a blip.
The last what, 20? 30 years show what they have been and will be.
The last 30 years include 2 national championships and 8 big ten conference championships.
Your jealousy is entertaining. Relax, son.
