"Sun on You is an album I composed for Piano and Strings. I wanted to create a record that had a lot of space and what I mean by space is, something that maybe slowed the world down a little and gave a moment to breathe.
It was great to collaborate again with the Scottish Ensemble, they are such brilliant players. Some of the tracks are filmic intentionally and other tracks are more classical in nature. I hope people enjoy it.” - Craig Armstrong

Saw this amazing man in concert at the "Old Fruit market" in Glasgow. 25.05.18 accompanied by the Scottish session orchestra.
Don't mind sharing that I quietly said a prayer whilst this piece was playing,.....for two reasons:
1. To thank God for allowing me the chance to watch and hear this man's wonderful music.
2. To Thank God for the gift of this man's talent in the first place.

Dont thank god.. thank Craig Armstrong for his dedication and passion. You are neglecting his beautiful work by rolling off his oeuvre on an phantasmal concept.

Absolutely exquisite , the album for me is his best work . A perfect combination of Einaudi and Richter , hauntingly beautiful . Nobody could fail to feel the incredible emotion In his track Onedin of his latest CD . Songs without words should be title of his next album , he makes music that cuts you to the core . Incredible and unbeatable Welcome home everybody .
