For all my people who have a problem of trying to connect a jack adaptor using your usb-C saying ''device isn't supported'' this video is not a solution for you, you need to buy a jack adaptor that has a built-in DAC in it.
I have a galaxy s22 ultra and had to enable developer settings to find this, but it was already disabled. Still can't use an aux cable through my usb-c. When i have an aux cable plugged in it plays through my phone speakers
I found an old pair of HTC USB type C earphones that was much better than crappy AKG that use to come with Samsung phones and I remembered that Samsung made an update some years ago where they stopped supporting lots of brands. It is a common issue with Samsung. Some brands work with this solutions some with other.you can find some potential solutions om Samsung members.F them I am moving to Sony.
Still working in 10/2024 🙏 bro you saved the phone off trying if it have really 'airplane mode' because i was so close to throw it out of the window... 😂🙈 THANK YOU 🤘
How did you get there to that last page man ??.. OMG you are jumping wothout showing the steps evidently ... you suddenly got there ... where dod uou click to get to that page of all those options ??!!! I could not find it on my Samsung S10 lite
I didn't skip any steps. I showed every screen getting to that option. Did you catch the part where I spoke about the developer options? Because this fix is if you enabled developer options and happened to enable a particular option. If you don't have developer options enabled on your menu, this fix very likely does not apply to your phone.
it gets kinda tricky, but make sure the cable has a built in DAC, plus you are using a splitter. In my experience, when using the trrs (3 ring) it doesn't detect microphone properly.
On my Android phone Type C HEADPHONES have no audio no sound. There's no option to change my settings to enable Type C HEADPHONES to play audio into the ear speakers.
whenever i plug in my type c headphones, it keeps showing the notification "Charging connected device via USB". it was working fine, but it suddenly stopped working. do y'all have any solutions for this?
It Worked!!!! Thank you so much, i had bought 3 different adapters because i thought they just were not compatible, turns out it was just this stupid setting.
Thanks for the video. My setting was already off and it will play via the built in app and does sound great but i primarily want to be able to listen to Audible and scribd plus TH-cam and all the normal streaming apps. I have a shanling USB DAC/AMP. I'm stuck in hospital, wanting to put my IEMS in and listen to my audiobooks but it won't bloody function. So farm FRUSTRATING.
I'm investigating issues with my Behringer UCA 202 on my Note 20 Ultra - I've found that if I open the camera app with my interface connected and select Pro Video it says it's connected to USB audio, but no signal comes through on the meters, and if I record veideo, there is no sound. However, if I connect the USB interface with the camera app already open, it switched to USB audio and I can see signal coming through, and if I record a video I get the audio recorded in via the interface. I can't figure out how to get the audio from my phone to come out of the interface though, although the phone seems to think it's sending audio out via USB (icon on volume control changes to headphones, and speaker is muted)
Even if you are using a usb C to 3.5mm converter that has a DAC built in (a must) make sure you are using a splitter rather than a trrs cable. I had something similar happen, and I figured out that was my problem. Not sure if it was yours, but something to verify.
@@Kingphotosonline I'm using S24 Ultra and Im using Samsung UBB-c headphones. When I first started using then I had no issues. Now about two weeks later. If the headphones are plugged in and I start a call, listen to YT, and and other streaming services. The sounds comes from the speakers unless I unplug it and plus it back in. And as soon as the video/music/call ends. At the start of the next video/call/music the music is yet again coming from the phone speakers. I don't have my developer settings turned on. Just got the phone.
You won't have it by default, you will need to unlock it by going into the "about phone" setting and then tap on the "build number" at least a dozen times for it to activate the ability to use it.

I dont have the developer options tab in my phone
You can go into - About phone, Software information and start tapping on "build number" I think 5 times? that enables developer options :)
@Kingphotosonline what cord do you use? It sounds like you don't recommend a 3 band TRRS?
Thanks a lot dude!! It worked for my CMF Phone 1 🎉
Thank you, I tried many videos but this one worked for me

You mean I will be then able to connect my USB to 3.5 inch adapter and input audio into my phone and stream quality audio on TikTok for example ?

While the adapter is plugged in, I start a video and it stops the video for no reason and then switches the video.

Do you have developer options enabled? If they are, it's also possible the name of the option could have changed.
It doesnt work for apple earpuds on redmi but other usb sudio works
thanks man nice Video :) but didnt work on my Samusung A 15 ..

I meant it works with the force app but NOT with any of the other options i actually want to use my earphone for.
