rewatching the anime again after a year and a half after breaking up with someone whom I basically dreamed of a future with made me realize a lot of similarities in the scenes that were used in the anime and what happened between me and him. Didn't get a happy ending like they did but I'm somehow happy for these two haha.

I want to be happy :/ I cant open it to my parents that Im not straight, im gay :/ Even though I know theyve already knew it from the beginning, Im just thinking if I can change who I am for them to be proud of me :( its been 10yrs ago since I discovered this feeling Im 23 now
PrinceKhen Hatake don't worry I know it's hard but try to tell them eventually when you are ready .... i didn't tell my parents yet that I'm bisexual even though if I tell them they will be not against it I think because they won't probably care or neither I will care because I don't need permission .....
U have to ask urself if ur happy and this is the way u want to leave ur life.. hiding a part of u .
In my opinion if u can be u be proud cz that what's makes u beautiful and unique.
And as for ur parents they are there to guide u and love u ... they may angry or disappointed but in time they will understand that's they way u are.

It is a really hard situation, but as the other comments said, the most important thing here is your happiness. Even if your parents don't accept right away that you're gay, they will have to eventually, because this is just how you are, and there is nothing to change about it. At your own time, I think You should do what is best for yourself, and the decition that, even if it takes you a lot of time, at the end will leave You at peace❤️
