Alone at prom was easily one of the best albums I’ve heard this decade. Such a breath of fresh air, and I’m sure I’ll still be listening to it 10 years from, can’t say that for a lot of albums.
I haven't listened to it, but listening to this I don't know if I'd call it a breath of fresh air. I mean this is some new-wave retro 80s with some rappers on it with the generic auto tune overlay. I mean it's catchy as hell and I really like it. But it's hardly genre defining. Thing is for young kids that haven't listened to anything like this before, of course they will think this is creative. But if you've heard a lot of 80s inspired tracks it's obvious where the track comes from.
