I think Dr. David Gibson--deep down--actually cares about patients (Remember Episode 2 when he asked Molly if she became a doctor because she cares about patients OR because she wanted to tell him that she's his daughter and that he would be disappointed if it was because of the latter). But I think he's been heavily pressured so much by the hospital administrator, Dr. Don (Can't remember last name) over the years (because Dr. Don (with, as he said, a heart of stone) just cares about the money, that it's affected his attitude toward people. But deep down, he cares about the patients. Afraid of getting close to people? Yes! Because he himself was hurt earlier in his life. It's a coping mechanism because he doesn't want to get hurt again.
I think it developed that way, possibly due to some sort of past trauma. Sometimes with trauma, we consciously and subconsciously distance ourselves and block anything that could invoke feelings related to said past trauma. Dr Gibson may be doing this, maybe due to some trauma from a loved one, let's say. So he has distanced himself so as not to fall into any emotional or psychological empathetic behavior with people. Could have to do with what happened in the past with Molly. Who knows yet. Gripping story so far! ❤

The acting in this episode is excellent. The young actress who plays Alice is particularly impressive. She is able to convey a wide range of emotions, from fear to anger to hope. The doctors in this episode are compassionate and dedicated. They are determined to help Alice, even when it is difficult. This episode is a reminder of the importance of protecting children from abuse. It is also a reminder of the power of love and compassion to heal even the most difficult wounds. I suspect they were very close at one time--perhaps even on the road to marriage. But somehow David messed up the relationship and when he found out Stephanie was pregnant with Mollie that Stephanie did not want David in Molly's life and likely insisted that David stay away from her. Meaningful relationships can take a long time to build and there is a lot of depth to both Dr. Gibson and Dr. Palmer. They're both complex people. This whole series is great! Molly is such a kind and compassionate character. I even like the contrast between her and her father who sees patients as mere statistics on a chart or money coming in. You see a young woman with a heart of gold. Her interaction with the little girl in this once was so cute.

The element of investigation combining with dramatical plot of each episode, especially this one always give a sense of sophistication. The notion that the wive entertain on how everything her husband have done for the family could compensated with the amount of times he caused harm to his own child is totally wrong. The child has absolutely nothing to do with all negativity surrounding either father or mother. Molly has earned her perfect place to access to the unknown world of someone who are in-between giving up a chance of living a normal life. This is quite a beautiful story.

This fourth episode of Saving Hearts moved the story forward in the development of the relationship between Molly Palmer and her father Dr David Gibson. It is growing in respect of Dr Gibson for his daughter. This story was fascinating, but like in real life, you can fix the physical ailments, but you may not be able to fix the emotional. Yaroslav Shinder played what is obviously an abusive father and that part was not resolved. All in all this was a good episode, not an important episode, but I am glad you made it and that I saw it. You still deserve sponsorship for the film project. Max is still ahead! I am looking forward to that episode.

I can appreciate the effort that goes into this series, but I feel like in your pursuit of making David a misanthrope you're also making him an incompetent doctor, which ruins the immersion because there's no way a doctor like that could ever become a head of the clinic or someone younger doctors like Molly could look up to. I do have to admit you've chosen great actors for both David and Molly, they've got a great dynamic. Please do justice to their work by writing their characters with more attention.

The 1st episode was filled with way too much of curiosity and it was very interesting to watch. I like the Chief doctor's behavior (his irresponsible behavior, intense teaching mehods, insensitive toward situations and patients 😂 and almost immatured most of the time but his daughter seems to step up and fill the gap that he is lacking 👍❤️) and I like the father - daughter relationship but not seen outwardly, but they just respect each other in their profession. Doctor Gibson should learn from Molly, she at least looked at the little patient carefully before jumping to conclusions. People are not some "files and symptoms" that the doctor can just ignore, the human body is too complex to make just one diagnosis and it was a mistake on Dr. Gibson's part to ignore her condition when his colleague warned him to look at the files about her condition carefully. One of the things a doctor must not allow is to allow carelessness to cloud his judgment, life is too precious to be thrown away so casually. 😌
Why molly is being allowed to speculate the things? If the clump of hair was the problem, it could also be assured by testing ultrasonography of the child's stomach. Otherwise, good story.
I suspect this series was filmed in 2022 in Ukraine. That is one the topics I cover about “Saving Hearts” in the Community section of my TH-cam channels.
I wrote a back story, a plausible explanation. In it, I place the hospital in Toronto. I name Molly as Anastasia Margaret Palmer. Moved from Ukraine to Canada at age eighteen with her mother Stephaniia. I explain Dr. Wright’s past with Dr. Gibson. The patients are mostly Canadian. Toronto has many immigrants, including India and Ukraine. First generation immigrants often name their babies by the new country. Change from Pyotr and Mariya to Peter and Mary. Even name Alice for grandmother Alesya. I also place the filming of these videos in 2022 in Kiev.

The element of investigation combining with dramatical plot of each episode, especially this one always give a sense of sophistication. The notion that the wive entertain on how everything her husband have done for the family could compensated with the amount of times he caused harm to his own child is totally wrong. The child has absolutely nothing to do with all negativity surrounding either father or mother. Molly has earned her perfect place to access to the unknown world of someone who are in-between giving up a chance of living a normal life. This is quite a beautiful story.

The conflict inside Albert is what cause him to give up his love with Molly. Molly has to find a way to figure out what has been going on. I would love to see the main point of this series as well as that element of helping others.

This fourth episode of Saving Hearts moved the story forward in the development of the relationship between Molly Palmer and her father Dr David Gibson. It is growing in respect of Dr Gibson for his daughter. This story was fascinating, but like in real life, you can fix the physical ailments, but you may not be able to fix the emotional. Yaroslav Shinder played what is obviously an abusive father and that part was not resolved. All in all this was a good episode, not an important episode, but I am glad you made it and that I saw it. You still deserve sponsorship for the film project. Max is still ahead! I am looking forward to that episode.
I want to acknowledge Tatiana Kaptan for playing the abused wife and mother. She left me with no doubt that she was the victim of emotional and physical abuse through her fine acting. Great direction has to be part of this portrayal. Yuriy Kravchenno played the intern in the opening scene and Raphael Teixeira once again played Dr Rob. As a sex crimes prosecutor we use dolls to make children more comfortable talking to us about their abuse.
I can appreciate the effort that goes into this series, but I feel like in your pursuit of making David a misanthrope you're also making him an incompetent doctor, which ruins the immersion because there's no way a doctor like that could ever become a head of the clinic or someone younger doctors like Molly could look up to.
I do have to admit you've chosen great actors for both David and Molly, they've got a great dynamic. Please do justice to their work by writing their characters with more attention.

The 1st episode was filled with way too much of curiosity and it was very interesting to watch. I like the Chief doctor's behavior (his irresponsible behavior, intense teaching mehods, insensitive toward situations and patients 😂 and almost immatured most of the time but his daughter seems to step up and fill the gap that he is lacking 👍❤️) and I like the father - daughter relationship but not seen outwardly, but they just respect each other in their profession. I also like the little cute crush the male doctor has on this talented girl. I also like the fact that she is so well prepared or well equipped through her education and so passionate toward her patients. All the qualities of a good and kind hearted doctor should have. ❤️🎉

Doctor Gibson should learn from Molly, she at least looked at the little patient carefully before jumping to conclusions. People are not some "files and symptoms" that the doctor can just ignore, the human body is too complex to make just one diagnosis and it was a mistake on Dr. Gibson's part to ignore her condition when his colleague warned him to look at the files about her condition carefully. One of the things a doctor must not allow is to allow carelessness to cloud his judgment, life is too precious to be thrown away so casually. 😌

I wrote a back story, a plausible explanation. In it, I place the hospital in Toronto. I name Molly as Anastasia Margaret Palmer. Moved from Ukraine to Canada at age eighteen with her mother Stephaniia. I explain Dr. Wright’s past with Dr. Gibson.
The patients are mostly Canadian. Toronto has many immigrants, including India and Ukraine. First generation immigrants often name their babies by the new country. Change from Pyotr and Mariya to Peter and Mary. Even name Alice for grandmother Alesya.
I also place the filming of these videos in 2022 in Kiev.
But what happened to the father? Was he charged for his crimes or did Dr. Gibson turn a blind eye to it?
I see no crime, just bad parenting on both sides. Alice gets counseling. All of the doctors will advocate for Alice.
