Hi~
Hope you're doing well. Just wanted to finally finish this BTS cover. I've been trying to figure how I want it. I've come to terms with the fact that it won't be perfect. I can now finally let it go. Also, I seriously love BTS' slower, stripped down, more melancholy songs like Spring Day so I naturally gravitated towards Let Go. As always, this is not a direct translation of the song. I rewrote some words for a more natural flow.

I'm glad they chose to continue. I'm grateful there will be another 7 years with them. This is really a heartfelt song but it's heartbreaking if it's their suppose to be farewell song. Destiny says this is not the time, but when the time comes, I hope the reason for their disbandment will not be because of pressure or any reason related to their thoughts of disbanding in 2019. I hope the reason of ending it is because they finally feel that their mission is complete & they're settling to the next pages of their lives. I'll be the happiest.

If you didn't know, Let Go was supposed to be BTS's last song. They were going to disband. Let's take a look at the lyrics:

They are trying to say that before they say farewell, they need to learn to let go. If they didn't let go, they would still have lingering feelings that would make them hold on. They felt like they had hit their peak, and they were scared of falling. They were mentally lost.

This song was like the boys last letter. Their last goodbye. It's not because of the armys, but because they were so lost and confused. "Unpuzzle my lego" meant that they felt like if they continued being in the industry, they wouldn't ever return back to their true selves. "Keeping myself busy with the days that have become hectic in order to become distracted, the schedule is all filled up" meant that they kept distracting themselves with lots of work, but it didn't work out well. The problem was still there. They were got surrounded by the problem and were so lost they wanted to give up as a band. "No… but I accept your blame really, it’s time to say goodbye" meant that they would accept if people blamed them for disbanding, but it still wasn't enough to stop them to.

This verse talks about ARMY. The will never forget ARMY and will always love them. They knew ARMY and BTS had a special connection that would never break even after they disbanded. Ysabelle is seriously the BEST when it comes to English covers of kpop. She interprets the lyrics to English in a way where the meaning stays the same and impactful. Most people try to interpret it word for word, that just ain't it.

God I can't imagine them disbanding but i know they are mentally tired even though they look happy. They Gave me life and became my happy pill. They made you realize that your life is important. They made you realize that you are worthy no matter what type of person you are. They made you realize that loving yourself is the best thing to do. They believe in you. They believe in yourself, in your talent, everything in you. They believe that there is something that special in you that you yourself is so narrow to notice it. Screams when they do Vlive. You greeted them during their birthdays and congratulated them. You are with them during their hardships. You had witnessed how people criticize their talent, doubt their abilities. People who make fun of them. Make false accusations. Spreads hate. But you didn't gave up, you're just ignoring them as BTS ignored them. You know who's right and who's wrong. They became your happiness. They became your hope. They became your inspiration. You boasted them to your friends, family. You wished to marry atleast one of them. You envy those stylists who are so lucky to touch them, dressed them. You even treated them as your husbands. Everything went well, you are doing great in your life. Until reports came that they are disbanding. They are preparing for the last day of their career. They prepare a big event. Thankfully, you can attend. You never mind the disbandment. You were so happy and very excited. You immediately wore the best outfit with a BTS LOGO in it. You were smiling until you arrived. You can't help but be excited that finally you can see them personally. The event started 'HANA DUL SET! ANNYEONGHASSEYO BANGTANSONYEONDAN IMNIDA'. You cheer and screaam so louuud. You we're giggling too. They started to perform and they perform their predebut songs. You joined the chanting, you sing along with them. More performances have done and all of them are so overwhelming. They started to thank ARMYs so much. They never regretted that they met each other.They tried to recall their trainee days and started to tease each other that made you all laugh. They also cracked some jokes that made Jin laugh like a windshield. You smile and sad, 'Thank GOD, I met this 7 dorks haha' . They never regretted that they love us. They never regretted their journey that is now about to end. They tried to hold back their tears but it flows as if it was a waterfalls. Same thing happened to you, you can't stop crying. The event was so powerful and emotional. After every performance everything went emotional. 'Kim Namjoon Kim Seokjin Min Yoongi Jung Hoseok Park Jimin Kim Taehyung Jeon Jungkook BTS' you repeated this over and over again together with your fellow ARMYs. The event took 4 hours and it was about to end so they played the 'Let Go'. As the song played all of you are started to cry even them. They can't sing clearly because they are crying. And the event went emotional.
The song is keep going while they are hugging each other. They can't help but cry infront of the ARMYs. All ARMYs including you is crying. They started to bow in each side. They always repeat 'we will never forget you ARMYs' 'thank you very much' 'we love you all' 'thank you for spending time to be with us' 'we don't deserve you all' 'never forget to love yourself' 'saranghaaaee' 'we loveee you all' as they are making their way to the backstage. They distracted you all with an amazing fireworks display. The pain killed your heart. Seeing them leaving made your heart died as if it was being stabbed repeatedly by a culprit. You went home blankly and the rain starts to fall, it feels like even the clouds are sad. You have nothing in your mind but the memories with them. It was evening, news reported the event happened earlier about BTS. You stared at it blankly, while listening to voices tears started to fall. You ran to your room and bursting your tears. You scream so loud and cried so much then ended up sleeping. You woke up every morning by their voices. You started your day by listening to their music but that was before. Before they disbanded, before they left. You lived your life today without BTS GAYO, RUN BTS. No more VLIVEs. No more Bon Voyage. No more HANA DUL SET ANNYEONG HASSEYO BANGTANSONYEONan imnida. Tbh, Im really not ready to let go of this seven boys. Even if they are still here with us, its hard to think that they will just disband one day. This boys who made us happy and smile everyday will one day find their true love. I can already imagine how the armys will get heartbroken becuz of that but we have to understand. Im actually disappointed of myself because I was not old enough to understand things like music when they became a group, those times where they suffered the most. I was not there, I was not there to support them. This songs gives me mixed emotions, sad because they almost disbanded in the past, but also happy that they didn't do it for their fans. In the past, Im not that interest with music and didn't have any fav artists but when I knew bout them, everything just changed. I accidentally listened to their song and then suddenly I became their fan. Even if I never had any of their albums or army bombs. Even if I never went to their concert yet, that doesn't mean Im not a real fan. I might not be as rich as the others but that doesn't mean I dont love them. I will support and love them and forever will. And no-one can ever change that. Even if they disband, they will remain the number 1 in my heart.
