We also miss letters, for example, we'll miss he out of the and the g of the end of going. So we say "goin to 't' pub" rather than "going to the pub"

Jack O'Connell & Michael Socha ( from Being Human, This is England etc) are perfect examples of a broad Derby accent, albeit a more modern inner city one. It's not far off a Leicester, Burton or Notts accent, but different enough. Infact they both went to the same school up the road from me. The example in the video is obviously much further north Derbyshire & clearly the dialect is old, but I still know areas where older locals are'nt far off this!

@mofi500 hit the nail on the head.
Interestingly, this dialect is close (relatively speaking) to the way English might have sounded several hundred years ago. There's a good reason for this. People in rural areas, at least until recently, tended to have much stronger social ties to the people around them, which results in dialects such as this maintaining.
In cities or urban areas, there are still dialects (just think of Liverpool), but there's a much higher chance of influence from others.

Honest to god, the strangest accent in the country. In a good way of course. To me it's like a mix between Stoke and Brummie. So hard to imitate.
