    When one of the greatest striker ever says that "what 5-6 things he does in a match I couldn't do in my entire career" then you know you are dealing with the greatest of all time... Lionel Andres Messi... GOAT...❤️🐐🇦🇷⚽

    im irish, when i heard about bellingham i thought about here we go again, english building up a player as if he's the next zidane or something, but he is truly a one-off. He is super-professional, he's serious about winning and serious about his career. He has already got stuck into learning the language. He isn't a primadona, hes humble and serious, hes not interested in doing tricks for the sake of it. he's just seems a born leader, like a bryan robson for england national team for this next 10 years

    Just a mild criticism--Di Maria's contribution to that World Cup final before being taken off is deeply underrated. Nothing routine about him.

    • @jamesdouglass2724
      @jamesdouglass2724 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure about that; a lot of people I know were saying Di Maria was Argentinas best player whilst he played. Unsurprising; he’s by far Argentinas third greatest player

      @@jamesdouglass2724 el fideo would never agree to your last claim. he would at least name di stefano, kempes, aimar, riquelme and batigol before him. the problem is that you scan a list of some trophies and count some titles and have no regard for HOW THEY ACTUALLY PLAYED THE GAME to make nonconsistent claims. nonetheless dimaria is a great player. dont push everything to the extreme, i would say he can easily be considered in the top20 argentinian players, maybe top10 but i think there would start a debate, because i already named 5 + the two usual suspects and suddenly theres only room for three and im not an expert in argentinian football history ( obviously i know like thousand times more then you, but still that doesnt make me an expert and shows you how clueless you are about argentinian players).

    Second chances are not applied blanketly across the job market. If he was a teacher I doubt he'd have a job back, if he was a coach i doubt he'd have a job back, if he was a lawyer I doubt he'd have a job representing a firm etc.
    If you're supposed to be a role model, the minimum you need for a 2nd chance is a sign of redemption or attrition. He's not even shown remorse for his actions.

    Growing up, I would have to read articles to find out how players/teams are doing because I didn't get the opportunity to watch many games and therefore, watching Match Of The Day was almost like a religious obligation. Grew up watching Gary, Shearer and Alan Hansen. Any chance of getting Hansen on an episode? I'm sure he has a bucket load of stories as well. The content is amazing and long may it continue.

    That trophy he won for Inter Miami last week was the highlight of any footballers career.
    Imagine a random footballer, pick one, and then imagine them going to a team that is bottom of their league, and then play their first game 2 days after arriving from the beach, and scoring and assisting in the double digits (the so-called goal contributions) to lead them to their first ever trophy. Who else would do something like that?
    And he did it in 1 month. So 1 month highlights are probably better than the entire careers of average professional footballers.
    I should also mention that this month is really late in his career and doesn't really change anyone's mind. He's had so many better months in his career.
    That's how big he is. Two orders of magnitude.
