Lin was doing SO many interviews and promos leading up to this Tony's performance AND doing the show every night, his voice was tired! I saw the show a few days before this performance and he sounded much more fresh. They all sounded like they had been rehearsing like mad prior to this performance and they killed it!

This was a medley of In the Heights and 96000. 96 is so full of energy! I always get pumped every time I hear this song. Definitely check out 96000 in full. Not clear if she is coming back once show opens again this fall. The man in the white shirt with the great vibrato you pointed out is Chris Jackson, who played George Washington in Hamilton. He was great in Hamilton, but his main song One Last Time was just fabulous. Also, Warner Brothers released the first 8 minutes of the movie In The Heights. I recommend you react to it. Karen Olivo is her name. After In the Heights she played Anita in the revival of West Side Story- and won the Tony Award for supporting actress. Currently she is nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in Moulin Rougue. Sadly, she is not returning back to the show when it reopens due to the Scott Rubin scandal- abusive behavior to his staff.

As per movie version, Lin Manuel Miranda has definitely got into voicing his vocals.
Her name is Karen Olivo and she played Angelica in the Chicago touring company of Hamilton. She was also the star of Moulin Rouge on Broadway, playing the role of Satine before Covid. Not clear if she is coming back once show opens again this fall. The man in the white shirt with the great vibrato you pointed out is Chris Jackson, who played George Washington in Hamilton. He was great in Hamilton, but his main song One Last Time was just fabulous. Also, Warner Brothers released the first 8 minutes of the movie In The Heights. I recommend you react to it. In the movie, Anthony Ramos, who plays fellow revolutionary soldier Laurens and also Hamilton's son in Hamilton, has the main role of Usnavi, played in this clip by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Karen Olivo is her name. After In the Heights she played Anita in the revival of West Side Story- and won the Tony Award for supporting actress. Currently she is nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in Moulin Rougue. Sadly, she is not returning back to the show when it reopens due to the Scott Rubin scandal- abusive behavior to his staff.
